I didn't have the clearomizer that tight on the APV. I just didn't have the clearomizer base tight enough to the tube.

But you do make a good point.

ah. that makes sense. i sometimes keep my T3 bottom coil not snugly tight. the unit gets choked if you screw it on too tight. you gotta walk tha ttightrope of loose enough for the wicks to perform, yet tight wnough so you dont have a damn pool of juice seeping fronm the bottom coil assembly thingamajig.

I think I take issue with the VAMO's threads not being so good. From my experience, and from what most reviewers have had to say, they / I am pretty gosh darned impressed with the threading on this device (I have 2 SS ones)....not only on the 510 connection, but the body and cap as well.

I'd be interested to hear what others think on this one. Maybe it's just me.

However, I do agree with you that you should never torque down anything to any PV or battery, especially a clearo w/ removable base. "Snug" is the word of the day! :2cool:

im not all that impressed with the threads on my vamo. everything i put on top wobbles more than any of my other PVs (twist, spinner, vmod, ego passthru, provari). surprisingly enough, the vmod is the most sturdy- it edges out the the ego passthru and the provari slightly.

im not saying that the vamos threads are bad to where the tank looks like a bobble head on top of it, but its certainly not sturdy. i worry that one day it wont be able to grab onto anything. BUT, the threads on a vamo looks like its just an ego-510 connector plopped on top of the tube, encased in the sheath/dripwell. with the right kind of ingenuity, i bet you could replace it. and by "you" i mean someone with more technical know-how than me.

^^^ If your juice delivery devices wobble on top of your VAMO I would guess that the top cap is not press fit securely. Nothing, cartos, little clearos, CE4s, attys, AGA-T2 nor two brands of Viva Novas, wobble even a little bit on either of my VAMOs. Also, I do not screw down any of my juice delivery devices hard. Contact your vendor for a replacement VAMO.
