I got my Vamo2 in the mail yesterday. Hubby charged the batteries (efest 18650 unprotected...not the best I know, but BRAND NEW ) for me until I got home today. It is not firing very consistantly. Im using a smoktech duel coil tank, 1.5 dual coil cartos in it. It is not off. Battery is at 3.6v. I am vaping at 4.0v. It works fine for like 3-4 hits, then it wont hit. I look at it, it is still on (not battery?!?) everything looks fine. I get annoyed, try again and it works. Am I having a connection to the tank problem? I was not using a airflow adapter, and it did it. Then I put on the airflow controler and it still on and off did it. What gives?!? I really like it when it is working. Suggestions helpful. Try to keep it dummied down for me please as I do not get some crazy initals and vv and vw is slightly confusing. maybe im vaping to low since I read technically im at 3ohm due to the dual coil 1..5?!?!?

When you're having problems, hold down the "up" button until you get a reading on your carto and see what it says. It might give you a clue to what is going on. You can also hold down the "down" button until you see a reading on your battery level. If it's getting low (below 3.7V although it should work down to about 3.2V) then it's time to charge.

3.6v is starting to get towards the bottom end of the battery's charge, and I've noticed my Vamo doesn't tolerate nearly-dead batteries as well as some of my other VV devices.

One thing to take into account, the vamo is a bit off on it's readings, at least in my experience. It will read the battery voltage .1v-.2v higher than it actually is. If my vamo says the battery is 3.8v, my multimeter will usually say 3.6-3.7, and my other VV devices will read about the same.

So if you vamo is reading 3.6v, it's possible the battery is actually only at 3.4 volts or so. Then take into account the voltage drop when the battery is under load, which could be a few tenths of a volt, and it not terribly surprising that the Vamo is acting up.

It can't be the battery disconnecting from the spring, as that would turn the device off.

The buttons on all these cheap VW devices don't seem to be the best quality also, every single cheap china VW/VV device I've had, every once and awhile the button will cut out a it, regardless of battery charge level.

At 3.6 I would recharge the battery, my VAMO cuts off at 3.4, the Sig Zmax is around the same area. I know many people say 3.2, but my devices never let the battery get that low before they stop. If you let a low battery sit for a little while you may get another toke or so off of it, but when the device decides it needs charged, it needs charged.
