Hey everybody,

I just got into vaping, and I'm overwhelmed by the amount of information and products available!

I bought an Elego Twist 1000mAh with a nautilus Mini. Is this a suggested setup?
I'v heard bad things about the elego twist, that they die quickly, strip threads, inconsistent vape... ect

What would you guys recommend with my Nautilus Mini in terms of battery.

I don't want any box shaped batteries, I prefer the pen shaped ones.

Thanks!

The elego looks like a knockoff ego, or just rebranded. I think any pen style battery will give the same experience. I haven't really used my ego since getting a couple of mech mods. I recommend getting an istick, I don't have one personally but all the reviews are really good. It is a box mod but its really small and offers twice the capacity of what you currently have as well as being variable wattage.

Welcome to the site.

A lot of people start off with the pen type and they work pretty well overall if you are just going to use tanks. I still own the first four I bought and they are about 10 months old and still working fine. If you don't beat your gear up it will last.

If they are working for you know and you enjoy the vape and they are keeping you from smoking then they are perfect.

Make sure you have a backup so when you charge one you can keep vaping. And then like most of us you keep looking and buying gear until you find the perfect setup ;)

Good luck!

I've been using an Innokin iTazte VV 3.0, and it works great. VV/VW, USB charging, and in a small, pen-type form factor (except that it's square). It only has a 800 mAh battery, but you can vape it while it charges too. If you've never tried one, or haven't really heard a lot about it, check out some of the YouTube videos on it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yes, if it works for you, keep on vaping it. If you do decide to get another then it will be a good back-up. Because staying off of cigarettes is the priority, back-ups and spares are critical. I have a complete system with a small bottle of juice in the car. I'm never that far from the car.

The VV V3 is a good step forward. Also, the MVP is out and, like its predecessor it is well made and durable. Has a large internal battery and a very good power regulating chip inside.

If you do step up, the Nautilus tanks will give you better flavor, too.

Happy vaping!

I would say your choice in battery is simple depicting if you know what you want out of your battery. if you like your ego twist and it was cheap and you like charging it multiple times a day and that you have to dissconnect your tank everytime which can lead to accidental leaks from twisting the wrong part of the tank potentially. I personally got my evic pen style mod that fits an 18650 battery and has a micro usb port for charging that you can vape on while charging. i stuck my nautilus tank on it and loved it ever since. I got my evic for $60 off newegg .com. When i first started vaping, i wanted a battery big enough to last all day, one i could charge easy and a battery i could smoke off of while it charged. the evic did that for me and i got the nautilus becuase it held 5 ml of juice and that would last me a 12 hour shift at work. i payed 60 for my evic and ive had it since july of this year use it everyday and the most important part...... i have had 0 issues with my battery performance nothing. id also say alot of the nemisis clone poisiden clones sound like they are right up your ally. I would just search google for 18650 mods or go to fasttech .com and check out there clones.

I used a standard eGo and eGo Twist for 6 months before buying another battery device.

Would you believe that I still have my original eGo starter kit!? Batteries are 4 years old, and still work just fine.

Nothing at all wrong with that eGo Twist. If you're getting the vape you want, and it's keeping you from smoking cigarettes, it's doing just fine.
