Over this past month I recently got a MVP 2.0 With a innokin I clear 30s tank with a 1.8 ohm coil with juice that's a 20/80 VG heavy blend, so far its good, the juice sometimes loses a bit a flavor though, is it because its a thicker liquid and is hard to wick? I'm vaping it on 3.7 volts with 9.5 watts, decent vapor production.

My other setup is a Vamo V5 with a Nautilus tank which has been a little more dissapointing, its a 2.0 ohm coil at 3.8 volts but at 10 watts, I would expect it to go higher but its tasting really.... Bland, sometimes burnt, I have the same type of blend in my I clear 20/80 VG heavy, is it just because it doesn't wick as well? I just ordered those new BVC (bottom vertical coils) that come in the nautilus mini, I have seen reviews that love it, but will it do good with a higher VG blend? I also want to know how to blow nice clouds out,,, I know RDA or sub ohming is the way to go but I'm not sure how that stuff works (rebuilding or just building coils in general). I've seen people or read that people are going like 4 volts + without having problems, which would help with vapor production? I know all about the pg/VG stuff, just want to know if those new coils would wick it better or I should just ditch it and go with RBA's or RDA's for some heavy clouds :2cool:

First of all, you're either running in volts OR watts. Your MVP will operate on whatever you set last. As soon as you go from watts to volts, the device will run on your voltage setting...and vice versa. They work seperately. I'd suggest staying in wattage mode and start low. Adjust up until you find a setting you like.
Thicker juice may have a little more trouble wicking. You can cut the airflow down to help with this. You can also take unpowered puffs. You can cover the airhole and draw a bit but too much will cause flooding. Keep at it! These suggestions are for your Nautilus. I don't like iclear anything so maybe someone else will help you with that.
The new bvc aspire coils will work in your nautilus and they're fantastic.

If you are looking for more vapor production, high vg blends and higher wattages is not all there is to it. Air flow is also an important factor, and the iclear30 doesn't have much to offer in that department. The Nautilis Mini with BVC coil does have better wicking and airflow, and I was not disappointed by the flavor and vapor production I had with mine, but I would by no means consider it a "cloud". If you are considering jumping into the rebuildables game, I say go for it. Try out a cheap RDA and spend some time on YouTube to learn a basic micro, and have fun. Some kanthal and a bag of cotton balls will last you a very long time, and cost far less than buying replacement coils for an iclear or aspire tank.
