New Vaper - 11 days and counting

Well OK 10 days really, seeing as it's only just turned Saturday.

Been wanting to quit smoking for a while, tried this and that, didn't work.

I picked up a 10Motives e-cig disposable thing and didn't like that much either. Decided to try a different brand and found the "VapourLites" at my local corner shop. Rechargeable mini that's closer to a cigarette size and liked it so much I haven't looked back.

I looked up their website and ordered a bunch of what I now know are diposable cartridges, and worked out that I ought to have about a months supply, for half the price of what the baccy was costing me.

I actually had a clear up a couple of days after I switched to the minis found a pouch half full of tobacco (Amber Leaf, RYO's for the record) and threw it away. In all my history of smoking I have never thrown anything away if it was smokable.

Haven't touched an analogue since, haven't wanted to smoke tobacco, have sat next to smokers in the 'smoking area' and not felt the urge to return to smoking, instead thinking .o(Man that smells bad!)

Oh sometimes I can ramble on a bit.

Then I discovered the ECF forum and started reading. ECF and some youtube videos from GrimmGreen and PBusardo got me looking at mods, and sitting on my desk here now I have a LavaTube paired up with a ViVi Nova tank and am enjoying my vaping much more than the minis, now relegated to backup duties only.

Thought I ought to get around to posting here having read so much of the site. So hi, and stuff.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on 11 days! When you have 5 posts in the new members forum you'll be able to post in the UK sub forum here.

Welcome from across the pond, and congrats on quitting the stinkies. You will have a even better go at it if you opt for a better system such as the Joye eGo Twist. I just upgraded and I can't believe the difference. You will also have a much larger field of juice flavors to pick from.

Hey dude.. too had a rather unique experience.... the cartros were lame for me but when i JUST BOUGHT THE Joye eGo Twist and I too can't believe the difference. You will want to vape...God bless and good luck!

You will have a even better go at it if you opt for a better system such as the Joye eGo Twist. I just upgraded and I can't believe the difference.

I did look at getting the Twist but eventually went for a LavaTube. Mostly cos of way the VV works. With the tube you get a wider range to play with so I can mess around and get myself LR atomisers, carts, tanks anything and dial it in the the best voltage for the juice I'm using. I'm probably going to get myself a Twist or maybe a Kgo device for being out/about or at work though, just cos the size makes it easier to cart around.

The difference in vaping between a poor quality dispo and a reasonable mod though is amazing. It's a shame there isn't a company that's making something that gives the vape of a mod in the convenience of a cigalike. Presumably that's down to battery technology mostly.

Now I'm looking into juices and just know I'm going to end up DIYing it. I've set myself a rule though that I can't buy anything new to play with until the money saved from not using smokes will have paid for it.
