Welcome to ECF, Donkey - congratulations on doing away with the stinkysticks!

One thing you will find is that many vapers get so 'hardcore' over their gear and juices that they often don't save a whole ton of money - sure, they have fun (we do!) and that's part of it. Going by what others have said, you may well tire of your Ego-T very quickly. Although I have never tried one myself, I hear they can be an exercise in frustration.

I see very quickly that this could become as expensive as smoking with all of the cool things associated with vaping. I understand the frustration with the ego-T as most seem to have issues with them leaking but from what I can tell it is all in where the tip is punctured by the atomizer. I have had a couple small leaks using re-filled tips but when I use a brand new one the Ego-T works great. I also have some of the updated silicone caps being shipped now that cause the seal to perform much better and hopefully no more leaks. Overall I am super happy about the switch to vaping.

Congrats on switching from cigs to ecigs, after a brief stint with 808's my second pv was the Ego-T and have moved on to mods since but after tinkering with my Ego-T and using a LR Ego-T atty I really was pleased with it, had no leaking issues at all with mine but the mod world came calling, so good luck and keep on vaping!!!!
