From what i read if you're willing to be patient Fasttech is really good for the price and the variety. But you will have to wait way too long if it's your first vape. It took me 2 weeks to decide on my first vape and i finally decided to order it from CanVape, they have a special offer of a $40 vape ego-c twist battery + some other head with 3 10ml e-juices (nic or non-nic). Where in Canada you are can also be a factor in what website to order from.

I've heard a number of poor things about shipping from them as well.

Here's my thoughts. If you haven't used an e-cig and are looking for a relatively inexpensive buy-in, for the same amount of money you can get a decent single battery to try out. It'll cost you a few more bucks to get a decent head, like an eVod and some juice. Try it out, see how you do with it. If you think it's for you, it makes sense to spend a few more bucks anticipating that you can kick a comparatively expensive habit. It becomes much cheaper, pretty quickly, once you get a decent kit built up. Then, you've quit smoking and who cares that you spent a half month's worth of cigarettes for a decent set of batteries?

I'm new to vaping and I stumbled upon this forum. I'm looking into fasttech, I've heard they're tricky. It would be nice to get an opinion on the legitimacy of this:
    $26.78 eGo-VV /eGo-T LCD / eGo-C Twist 1100mAh Batteries Kit (3-Pack) 3-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
    Thanks!

Hi messy idk about fasttech but i bought the Ego-c Twist as my first vape and i bought a kangor protank2 and protank2 mini and the battery life last really long and i get pretty good vapor production i would trust the ego batteries as a awesome starter kit happy vaping :D

    Hi Messy and welcome.

I wouldn't buy non-brand batteries from FT, but that's just me. It doesn't mean that they are bad, just that you don't know what you're buying.

Is it your first battery? Are you looking to upgrade? I recommend getting an iTaste VV V3 or the MVP 2. They are very good and advances devices and they are genuine Innokin products.

$39.54 Authentic Innokin iTaste VW V3.0 7-in-1 Variable Voltage Rechargeable 800mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - vv-3.0 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

    I'd also get a Kanger BCC head--either a T3S or a ProTank and some extra coils. Just make sure you buy a Kanger--not a Kanger-style or some such--that means you're getting a knockoff. :)

You can buy the things I suggested in Canada also, of course.

    Good luck!

fasttech takes as long as two weeks to a month to ACTUALLY ship your order. and up to a month or longer to receive in your hands. AND i GUARANTEE you will NOT like vaping too much with an eGo actually any eGo brand sucks. I hate them, the vaping experience in them has little to none. Spend some good money on something that willl keep you interested and impressed, personally i'd get a provari for my first buy..nothing chinese atleast not for your first ecig/PV. thos eGo's break they're not durable at all the battery is outdated. YES they're cheap but pay that priceand it only lasts you a couple to six months of use then you spend more money to get another one...then overtime you spend the same amount of money on eGo's as you would with one buy on a Provari or other MODS...but it's just advice, you don't have to take it.

As a starter, the ego twist is a fine start. I am still using my 1300mAh twist as my take-out device. Couple that with a mini protank and you are set for the work day. Getting batteries and eliquid from fasttech can take up to 6 weeks. Other gears will take about 2 weeks to arrive at your door. One of those week is actually Canada Post. It takes about 3 days for your order to go from shipped to actually leave the country, another 4 days to arrive at Canada, the rest is up to Canada Post. Good luck.

I stumbled across this blog last night. Hope it helps.

I got my first order from myvaporstore but I didn't enjoy the pen type batteries they weren't bad just not for me. Now that I have an MVP I'm having easier time without the real cigs. For me I need hassle free ease of use and don't want to tinker with stuff

This is what I give to friends wanting to try vaping https://www.fasttech.com/p/1368709 I have handed out 8 so far and have had 2 that fell apart on them the first day. The shipping time varied. Early on I would get my orders in a week. My last order took 3 weeks. I currently have an order I placed 3 weeks ago and due to their now being on holiday it hasn't even been processed yet. I don't expect to receive it anytime soon.

In your situation, being in Canada and this being your first experience with an ecig, I would advise you against using fasttech as your first vendor. I would buy locally or go with a vendor with the item in stock that will ship to you quickly. That way if you have a question or problem you can contact them. I would hate for your first exposure to vaping end up being a negative one. I know when I ordered my first ecig I was so excited that I couldn't have waited a month for it to come in. If my first ecig would have taken a month and possibly gotten a dud I would probably have thrown in the towel and kept on smoking. I don't want to see that happen to a new vaperer. Good luck with whatever decision you make.
