I'm currently using Vision Nanos with a short 510-510 adapter in my mini gripper, but stumbled across these from fasttech:

$2.04 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer for V10 / EGO / KGO / 510 / 510-T / EGO-T at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Size wise (and cost wise) they look to be better than the Vision Nanos, and wouldn't need the adapter.

I've ordered 5 to try out, and will report back...

PS, would have posted this in a more topic-specific forum if I were allowed. Hopefully anyone interested won't miss it over here in the newby forum... ;-)

As long as you use them with the 510 extension your golden, you will not be able to drop one in without it. Not like the ce3's, they fit alone, just add a rubber drip tip to extend.

Here's a size comparison:

bit blurry....

Thanks. Please report back how it turns out compared to the Nano's. I'm interested.

I picked the Nano over CE3 for my gripper. It's LR and more responsive than the CE3 (1.8Ω vice 2.4Ω)

Ahh, OK so then the CE3s don't fit inside the gripper. Right? I'm trying to preserve the ultra pocketability and palmability of the gripper.

CE3 won't fit, but you can mod the gripper to accept it. It's easy, it is made of plastic.

Gripper's inner tube is big enough to accept the CE3 but the lip at the top makes it smaller, down to 3/8". Use a 16/32" bit (or x-acto knife) to rid out the lip. Ce3 should slide in perfectly.

I received one of these from FastTech a few weeks back and couldn't be more pleased with how well it works on mini-size (~9mm) batteries, manual or automatic, as well as 510-X and EGO types. Lots of vapor, no leaks, and heats up fast enough to make the little automatics actually useful. Measures 2.1 ohm on my sample. Great for stealth. Ordered 3 more during Xmas sale. Only drawback I've noticed is that it's a syringe-fill design - easy enough with 18-gauge needle.
