 Am I supposed to clean new clearomizers and tanks before using?

Because i got 6 new flavors and they all taste like plastic or totally different then direct dripping on my atty.

the kanger protank 2 tastes like alcohol and strong weird taste.

The clearomizers vivimini nova and S 510 Taste like plastic??

All my New Juices taste bad.

My 2 old juices have no flavor at all.

What am I doing wrong =( Is it always this hard to find good e-liquid ?

I'm using : S mini 510 e-cig batteries
3 S 510 Clearomizers
1 Vivi Mini Nova
1 Kanger protank 2
2 evod VV 1100 mah batteries

Juices I tried:

Chocolate Chill, Grape from canada vapes --------- Don't taste anything just air.

Strawberry Explosion, BlueBerry from CanVapes --- strawberry is too weak and plastic tasting, blueberry is too strong and plastic tasting.

Coconut,Cheesecake,Cinnimin Roll,Grape from Mt. Baker --- Coconut tastes too strong, Cinnamin Roll tastes too burnt and yucky, Cheesecake tastes mild but plastic tasting, Grape tastes like alcohol in my Kanger Tank...

Is it always this hard to find something worth vaping =(

*frustrated*

I don't particularly care for clearomizers- they taste strange to me as well.

Many people do love them but I seem to have better luck with cartomizer/tanks. You could pick up a box of cartomizers, and if you like them, try a tank.

Flavors are tricky. I lucked out found a few very simple flavors I found "OK" and stuck with them. Your taste buds do go haywire at first and what you hate today you may love tomorrow.

The alcohol taste may improve after a few days. Leave the cap off for a day or two.

I always clean out new toppers when I get them. A lot of the time they still have remnants from the manufacturing process in them. Plus it's good practice, even if the new topper seems squeaky clean, you don't know how long it's been sat on a shelf before you bought it.

Always let your new juices "steep" too when you buy them. Think of them look a fine wine, they get better over time. Most juices only need a few days with the cap off. I normally go by the smell of the juice, if it smells perfumey or of chemicals let it sit for a few days and give the bottle an occasional shake. Most juices will change colour too as they age, they normally go darker.

how long do u leave them steep ?

Normally about a week if the juice is really fresh and just been mixed by the shop. But some tobacco juices need longer (up to a month). I mainly go off the smell of the juice though, when it smells like what it says on the label (instead of perfume) I'll try vaping it.

great news ! I cleaned out my clearomizers and tank and finally a flavor tastes good ! the strawberry ! The blueberry isn't horrible either. Now I can finally be happy in my huge investment lol.

Excellent news. Glad to hear the flavours are finally coming through for you:D

Finding good juices was always a problem for me. People would recommend things to me and I'd try them and think they are just ok..nothing special.. I like a juice that hits me in the face with flavor. These do it for me..

1) Mad Murdock's Radiator Pluid (if you like black jelly beans)
2) Grape Ape by Nicoticket (tastes like grape soda)
3) Rainbow Sherbert by MBV (I get more of an orange sherbert from it, which I love)
4) Bowdens Mate by Five Pawns (mint chocolate type vape)
5) Moo Juice by MBV (its supposed to be like strawberry milk, which I do taste a little, its just good I dunno)

As for your troubles, I agree with whoever said your taste buds go crazy after quitting the stinkies. At first Mother's Milk by Suicide Bunny was my most favorite ejuice.. Now, it just tastes burnt and bland to me. Also, most certainly clean out your clearos.. Try soaking them in vodka(the coil heads)

I find there is a little burn in time with any tank to get good flavor. Absolutely wash any tank before you use it as there can be residual machine oil and the like which will throw your flavor way off. After that make sure you give the wicks time to do their job after you fill the tank and give it a few dry pulls to help it along before you vape it the first time. Many like to run new coils at a lower setting for the first few toots, some do it for up to half a tank which personally I think is overkill. After that crank up the vv/vw to where you think the taste is perfect for you.

It's a learning cure and can be a little fiddly but you'll get it. Hang in there and welcome!
