After two years of not smoking I started up again little over a week ago. I'm not happy. But honestly, I missed it even after all this time. However, I did not miss the smell or the known carcinogens. I missed the nicotine kick and that feeling when you take a hit. Today, I bit the bullet and bought a disposable e-cig from njoy at 7-11. I kind of like it. I can feel the hit and the nicotine effects. But I think I will want to go with a real kit soon. Does anyone know of places that sell e-cig products in stores in the San Fernando Valley? I don't like to buy much online. I'm not looking for a fancy kit that has a bunch of different flavors as I just enjoy traditional flavor. I don't think I want a complicated model that involves filling things. (maybe someday, but I just want to keep it simple for now) I was thinking of going with Blu Cigs and their website says Walgreens sells them (although Walgreen's website doesn't list them) so I might check that out. But wanted to know if anyone knew of other places as well. So much information making my head spin~

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I might need to use the internet after all. I'm just one of those last few who likes to go to stores lol

I did do some reading on this site. And I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm looking for something that comes close to a real cigarette and not complicated. Any opinions on this: Vapor King Ultimate XL Starter Kit - Customizable Electronic... ? I know I can go around and read reviews. But like movies, I tend to ask regular people what they think.

And I really want to check out that store in Laguna Beach sometime soon.

Welcome to the forums

Im from long beach! Real close by!!

There is actually a couple shops near us man, if you look on yelp there is a few also.

Good vape revolutions

I believe its in norwalk or artesia... i went to this shop and its AWESOME. That guys there know what they are doing. They got a bunch of good kits and mods there as well as a bunch of juice. They got alot of pink spot and halo juices! I went there and smoke with a guy named mike after i had gotten my kgo. I told him how i was tired of filling up cartos and he hooked me up with a dope tank set up. Recently i went and got a 306 atty and a sick custom drip tip for it. The drip master alex was in the shop that day and showed me the way he drips.

Really personable guys, and the even better part is their prices. They might be a dollar or 2 more than online vendors, but you dont gotta worry about shipping, or waiting!! Instant gratification! I HIGHLY reccomend checkin em out.

There is 2 shops closer to you, the vaper room (i think) and vape on.. both of these shops are either horribly overpriced (100 for an ego clone? LOL) or do not have a wide selection...

Check em out man. Holler if you come to long beach, im tryin to go to the shop tommoro for some new juice and probably another tank ahaha

I am from los angeles... there is a place called vapor spot in westwood I would never buy from but you can try mods and juice there.. It is OVERPRICED.. I would say test stuff there just don't buy from them! go online to get what you like..its like 100% markup from online prices.... If you want something asap I agree with above make the drive to e-cig city in Laguna... other then that sadly the valley does not have any store fronts.

E-cig is awesome jason will also ship items to you as well

Welcome , and if you get down to San Diego , you can stop by Vapure , in Mission Valley . Liberty Flights is right next door to Vapure . It's not a store front , but you can order online , and pick the items up at Vapure . Tony (owner) and Alex (girl in front) at Vapure are very helpful , and they have lots of juices you can try , as well as a few PV's .

Huge thanks to everyone. I do plan to be in San Diego by mid-summer so I will check it out. In fact, I think I plan to check out all the stores that were mentioned here this summer. Road trips are awesome.

My biggest problem at this time seems to be waiting for my order to arrive without resorting to regular cigarettes

Go directly to the nearest 7-11 and get yourself some Snus. Plant one of those little SOBs under your tongue. Stalk the mailman.

I actually have some nicotine lozenges I bought a couple days after I started to smoke again, I might have to bust those open. I've purchased a couple Njoy e-cigs from 7-11 and even though they say it's equal to about two packs it only lasts me a day. I do consider myself a heavy smoker (20 a day). I think I should have bought some extra cartomizers as I recently read that each one is about equal to 6 cigarettes. These things are not cheap (~$8 each).

And after further reading, I'm glad I went with a manual battery as it gives me the option to eventually fill my own cartomizers.
