Nice setup for shaving, and not overzealous like some of the stuff I see other people using on B&B. ;) Like I said, I am easy when it comes to shaving, so anything works fine for me. I am also one of the weird ones that shaves BEFORE showering, so aftershave isn't really necessary. I usually just finish with a dab of Thayer's witch hazel just to tone and tighten. Works great for me.

Now onto why you are really here. The setup you have listed isn't bad, but you can do better. The eGo-T battery is OK, but the T2 clearos are an old design and they don't perform as well as a lot of the newer stuff. They are also a top coil, so dry hits happen more often. I would suggest getting a Kanger EVOD kit. The battery is regulated at 3.7V and works very well with the included clearos, which are 2.5 ohms. If you feel you want a warmer vape, you can always opt for some 2.2 ohm coils. Here is a kit for a very nice $35. Kanger Evod Starter Kit

If you can swing an extra $10 over your budget, what you really want to start with is an eGo Twist kit. http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm
Opt for 2 eGo-C Twist 1000mah batteries, which will typically last all day on a charge, and opt for the Kanger EVOD clearos to go with the Twist batts. If you feel that the 1000mah will be to big, you can certainly opt for the smaller 650mah, but you'll be sorry later on, as you get used to the size in due time. The reason I suggest starting with this is because of the variable voltage feature. It allows to tailor your vape to suit your personal taste. If you want a sweeter cooler vape, you turn the voltage down, or if you want a warmer throatier vape, you turn the voltage up. Different juice flavors will react differently, and some taste better at lower voltages, while others are better at higher voltages. It just gives you more control. Better to have and not need than need and not have, and it's worth the extra $$ in the end.

One more option, and this one is phenomenal for what you get, take a look at the Innokin MVP 2.0. It's only $40 here - Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape It has every bell and whistle you could imagine, including variable voltage AND variable wattage, and it is a complete kit as it includes an iClear 30 clearo. You can even use it while it is charging. The battery is 2600mah, so you will probably be able to go 2 days before it needs to be charged. With the low cost, you can buy a few different clearos, such as the aforementioned Kanger EVOD, or a Protank 2, or a Smoktech ARO,....just to see which you prefer. Ego Cartomizers IMHO The MVP 2.0 is the best choice I have given you, if you are comfortable with using a box mod.

The reviews that you are reading are probably a little dated, and in the vaping industry, even 6 months can make a huge difference.

If you any questions, just ask. That's what we are here for. There are truly no stupid questions, and ECF is as friendly as forums get.

I suggest watching reviews on Youtube for all the stuff I mentioned. My favorite reviewer would be Phil Busardo. Here is his review of the MVP.

You got all the info you need right there in a nutshell...... I like the MVP 2. Great battery life and a few other bells and whistles. Welcome aboard!!! :toast:

OK, this is about to make me scream...

Apparently the batteries are shipped with a full charge. The battery's LED operates in a manner to indicate that. So that's that, the batteries are fully charged.

Kanger - 1, OSY - 0.

However, I can't get any vapor out of this thing to save my life. Yes, the batteries are on. Yes, I am pressing the button while inhaling. Yes, the head/clearomizer is assembled correctly. There is plenty of juice in the tank and the wick has had way more than enough time to become fully saturated.

I'm thoroughly lost. Is it possible that the clearomizer isn't making enough contact with the battery? It's screwed on as tightly as it goes, but there is no vapor whatsoever. I've watched video after video and I seem to be doing everything right?

Really wanna start it off with a VV/VW box mod, though? Seems a bit much for a beginner setup. And it's hard to remember for a lot of us here, but for a lot of people vaping is just a way to stay away from the evils of analogs, and not a hobby (or at least, it hasn't developed into one just yet). If I were him, I'd wait a while to get into mods and what not, diving head first into the complex world of APVs can be tough for someone with absolutely no knowledge of vaping or e cigs beyond the horror that is blu e cigs. That being said, when you're ready to get into the wonderful world of making smoking cessation into a full blown hobby like the rest of us, the MVP v2 is a great and particularly economic place to start.

Call me a fool.

So it never occurred to me that a clearo could be bad right off the bat. Considering it's just a drip tip, the connection, the tank, the metal seal ring and the coil, it seems pretty solid and like nothing could go wrong.

So another vaper asks, "Did you try the other clearo yet"? I hadn't.

So yea, the other works fine. Vaping some Ecto Cooler from Vape Dojo right now. Not much flavor, though, so can't wait to try another!

OK, folks, a few of my first impressions.

Firstly, in my non-existent experience, the suggestion for the Kanger Protank Mini 2 and EVOD VV batteries combo was certainly a good one. I'm very much enjoying the device, although I do know now that I want bigger vapor, better throat hit and stronger flavor, which brings me to e-juices...

So far, I've only tried three and the results have been fairly lackluster. The Ecto Cooler from Vape Dojo was my first. Honestly, I couldn't wait to clean it from my clearo and try a different flavor. A slight hint of citrus, but the rest was just...blah.

Happy Ending - a pineapple coconut combination that is essentially, derp, pina colada. This was a welcome change compared to the Ecto Cooler. I didn't get much coconut out of it, but the pineapple was fresh and sweet, albeit light. In fact, a little too light; that's my biggest complaint. Throat hit certainly surpassed the EC, too, so that's another plus. All in all, not a bad product.

Blueberry Vanilla Tobacco - This is where things get interesting, both in a good way and a bad way. My clearo was still 1/5 or 1/6 full of Happy Ending, and being too lazy to clean it out thoroughly, I just dumped in the Blueberry Vanilla Tobacco. What resulted really surprised me. Beautiful, juicy, sweet and strong blueberry flavor and vape! It really threw me for a loop, and had me convinced that I was just going to love the BVT.

That was not the case. The Happy Ending finally, er...came to an end, and I was left with pure BVT. A combination of not much of anything. A slight blueberry hit; no discernible vanilla or tobacco. Pretty disappointing. Very non-descript and boring. Oh well...

Anyways, ordering some new juice as we speak. Decided that price won't be a big factor the first time around and am going with Halo Kringle's Curse and Belgian Cocoa. Also checking out Virgin Vaper, but not sure what I want from them just yet.

Thanks so much, everyone, and I'll keep all of you updated!
