Hello @The60WattGUY and welcome to ECF.

ive been thinking on buying the lostvape thelema quest solo 100w as well but reddit is full of people having problems with the lcd screen anyone know about it??

That appears to be a common problem. Someone at a vape store was able to fix a customer's.

"Had a customer bring in a 2 month old thelema quest with this issue. Noticed the screen went when the fire button was touched, didn't even need to be fully pressed. The problem is the silicon between the fire button and the fire switch on the board, I cut a bit out of the bottom of the silicon part which is what is touching the ribbon between the board and screen, device now works fine again. Hopefully that helps for those that are having problems as it is a simple fix." <--- from Reddit

Customer's should never have to "repair" a problem that should have been discovered and resolved by Lost Vape prior to the Quest release.

Personally, I would avoid the Thelema Quest (and Lost Vape) and look for a higher quality mod.

It might be highly praised, but is it worth the hassle if you were to receive one where the screen went out?

But also, you might receive one that doesn't experience that problem. If you like it a lot then go for it.

I do not know.

However, the Evolv DNA chipsets used in their mods are excellent and very reliable. DNA chipsets can be found in many mods from the mass produced to the ultra high-end.

do you kno a mod that looks similar?
Sorry, I do not. I would suggest looking around and also checking out reviews.

Welcome @The60WattGUY !..... I am glad you are getting off the toxin sticks :) As for the Thelema Quest 100W mod, I am not aware of the issues about the screen. That particular mod has a fairly good chip set in it for being a standard regulated mod.... If you are into medium powered mods (100W) there are some fairly good ones out there. The lost Vape Grus is another good 100W unit that can also use a 21700 size battery, plus it will handle a 30mm atomizer on top....

Google thelema quest lcd issue youll get a page full of, reddit topics and responds of people having it some even got it exchanged and it happened again months later, def manufactor defect i heard the issue is because the ribbon of the lcd screen is behind the fire button after a while that fire button will break the wire then the screen goes black mod still works but not the screen people say happens around 5months after using,
I rly want one not sure if i should

Not just that i quit smoking PERIOD that includes marajuanna even tho it helps medical reasons but combusting and smokingi anything is bad also im from amsterdam its legal but im done with it,
Cost to much too rather buy vaping stuff :)

Its only been a bit but since its a hobby now im sure ill stick to it,
I was wondering do dual users exist?
So people that smoke cigs and vape?
Man that would be super unhealthy id bet,
thats why i quit MJ too so theres no smoke at all exept vapor in my lungs

They should do a study to see how bad dual using is,pretty sure some people do this

For me they are good enough, especially for everyday use without care so much about them... ! But i like the Aspire Zelos X more than the Innokin and thats why i bought it !
From Smok i never bought anything from them, but i would like to have the 213 mod with the dual 18650 batterys, but one of the older versions no the recent one with the leather - fabric on its back side... !

Yes, there are people here who both smoke and vape ..... Most of them are in the process of quitting tobacco..... For some people, quitting smoking is harder than for others and even after being introduced to vaping it takes people awhile to ween themselves off of the tobacco... It's far easier for people to get off the tobacco if they will just experiment around with their vape device and find the proper nicotine and pg levels as well as power and airflow so that it mimics smoking tobacco. If done properly, the experience of vaping can be made to be almost exactly like smoking tobacco..... Once people get completely off of tobacco then they often experiment with various vape flavors, chucking clouds, or other various vape activities.....

As for the 100 watt mod that you say people are having problems with..... Keep in mind that just because some people are having a certain problem with a mod or atomizer does not always mean that every single unit will exhibit the same problem. However, with that said, if people are having an issue with a device then there is a good chance you would also have the same issue if you purchase the device.... I would stay away from purchasing it to be on the safe side no matter how much you like the thing...... I am a hardware junkie for both rebuildable atomizers and mods and I am quite aware of what is currently on the market. That said I do not know all of the defects of every single piece of hardware out there. I do however know about quite a few of the defects with many devices. The chip set in that particular mod you are looking at is a very good one. But, just because it has a good chip set does not mean that the mod is worth purchasing. If lots of people are having trouble with the screen then put your money somewhere else....

NOTHING at all wrong with SMOK devices...... SMOK used to be known as Smoke Tech back in the early days of Smoke.... They then changed their name from Smoke to just SMOK...... Their first mods were cheaply made and flimsy. ...... Some of the battery doors were not reliable and would often open...... HOWEVER, with that said, through the years their mods have vastly improved in quality. Not only has the quality improved but they have developed a couple of very good chip sets..... So, for less expensive type of mods, the newer SMOK mods are quite good nowadays.... So right from the very start SMOK got a bad reputation because of it's flimsy mods.... It's a shame because their new products are very good, especially for the money.

    Hello Amsterdam. Welcome The60WattGUY.

You will succeed now in quitting cigarettes forever. Intention is everything.

Do you easily get equipment and liquids in the Netherlands?
