Hello all. i Just started smoking e-cigs about a month ago and it has been great so far.

I did come across several problems with the device itself though and im wondering if its a common problem or if i just bought a bad product.

Its the Ego non tank version. Both atomizers died in just over a week and eventually within 3 weeks both batteries died as well. I got new batteries and they died the moment i bought em. I later found out that the replacement atomizer that i got was the one that caused all batteries to die. There was soemthing wrong with it for some reason it killed the batteries.

A friend lent me a new set so i am still smoke free for now. So its all good.

But im just curious, since i am looking for the next set to buy.. which would be the best brand that i could get? many say the Ego-T is the best. Im considering buying that soon but i'd wanna know if that is really the best or is there better? And secondly.. Anyone know where i could get it? So far i've been getting them from a friend who get's it from Malaysia. The waiting time is rough so i was hoping to find a local supplier, if anything happens i can get replacement parts asap instead of waiting a week.

Thanks for the help if you guys reply :)

Do PM me if its illegal to say where i could get it from in the forums.

Haven't come across any genuine joyetech ego in malaysia. Probably most of them are knockoffs. I got my 1st ego from there too but it only lasted slightly more than a month before being totally wasted.

The original egos are from joyetech, but some knockoffs are actually better than the original. Ego-t or ego, they are actually the same. Just that ego-t comes with different atomizers and it got the 5 clicks off function. The atomizers are interchangeable.

There are definitely better stuffs out there besides ego-t. Example are those higher voltage mods, which usually come with higher prices. The next upgrade you might consider is the variable voltage ego. You can set the voltage at 3.2, 3.7 or 4.2 to give you a feel of higher voltage vaping before you decide whether to go for mods.

First of all, welcome bro! You mentioned Ego T non tank version, I assume they are cartomizers instead? If they are, then chances of cartomizers getting clogged: 1) by wrong combination of PG/VG (E.G: 20PG/80VG) are there. Or: 2) you vape and vape and vape and forget to top it up (What's that slight burnt taste? *Shrugs it off*).

If you must get a new PV, why not make it a V.V?

Yeah it was cartomizers i think. Those that need to pour the juice on the spongelike thing. I think i always end up vaping and forget to top off thats why always die. haha. Thats why i prefer tank version. Yes it finishes liquid faster but much easier to take note of the amount of liquid inside. Dont mind buying more liquid, but i'd rather buy less replacement parts :p.

Anyways any VV to recommend?

You can check out bro Trinithophenol's siggie and bro surfer's siggie. There are atomizers and then there are cartomizers. And then there are clearomizers. And then there are Giant clearomizers. And there is the Saturn Piper Atomizers too. Nothing really. Just a preference of what you really prefer. Aesthetics or Practicality. Throat hits or Vapors. Aesthetics and Practicality. Throat hits and Vapor.
