Hello everyone, I've been lurking for around 2 months now. I started on february 1st when i got my smoktech tank kit from madvapes. Been smoke free since then :) the kit has held up very well so far. I get lots of questions about it because it doesn't look anything like the standard ecigs they sell here in nashville tn.
Im an android geek, and photography/video student graduating in april.
Just wanted to say hey and become official on the board. Have a great day!

Welcome Yanelon. Have a seat, put yer feet up and hang for a bit. You'll find a lot of helpful info and people here so feel free to ask questions without the fear of being ridiculed. The more you hang around the more you will learn. I'm actually very surprised you got a Tank as your first purchase. Usually people start out with a 510 kit or something of the like. I think that may be a cost issue with a lot of folks though. I myself didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I didn't know a lot about. Especially when it came to smoking. I have to admit, I didn't have much confidence that it would help me stop. Here I am a year later smoke free and still vaping away. Oh, and don't get discouraged if ya hit a rough patch. Slip-ups are common especially when just starting out. Finding the right combination of the right equipment and juice, strength, etc... can be a daunting task. With some time and plenty of patience you'll figure it out. I hope you stick with it and best of luck to you.

Thanks everyone, its been great so far! I had tried a gas station kit and knew it may work if i could get the right flavor of juice. So i started looking on the internet and it led me here, where i found out about mods and such. I decided a tank system would be great for my on the go lifestyle and madvapes had them on sale so i took the leap with some juices. Yes i already want a mod but can't justify more money spent too my wife yet lol. Would really love a zenesis to become more self reliant without waiting on the mailman. Looking into diy to save more and get exactly what i want in my juice. Either way im hooked on the board and glad i found it

Hi all just want to put my story out there in the hopes it will inspire a few smokers to make the switch to E-Cigs.

First off I'm 34 years old and have been smoking 22 years, in August 2009 I was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma, no it's not a smoking related cancer but all the same scary as hell. It made me start thinking, I needed to change a few things and quitting smoking was one of them but I dreaded it, quitting cold turkey was looking like the only way I had used gum and patches before but they didn't work at all. By orders from my doctor I waited till after my treatments where done, yea can you believe it he told me to wait he said I didn't need the added stress, any ways a year later my doc gave me a clean bill of health cancer free in full remission but, I was still smoking then I saw a cheap 20 buck e-cig in a gas station so I picked it up it was awful the worst thing I had ever tasted. Back to the real deal :( but now I knew they existed so I went online and started doing my research. thanks Volcano you guys probably saved my life, on October 25th 2011 I got my first Inferno kit, the day I got it I put my pack down and haven't touched an analog cig since, just like that it was so easy now I'm down from high strength e-juice to med, I have since decided to start my own business giving people the opportunity to quit and be successful at it with e-cigs. well that's it my story till now. And one more thing to all those nonbelievers and big tobacco lobbyists out there trying to get e-cigs ban you better wake up we wont go without a fight! Well everyone PEACE OUT and VAPE ON!
