Whats up guys and gals, Just started vaping about a month ago and haven't had a cigarette since. I smoked newports for about 3years.

I currently purchased the halo starter kit, along with the menthol variety pack, midnight apple, cafe mocha, southern classic, and tiki juice.

Also ordered hawk sauce, faux hawk, apple rings, and lemon berry form mtbaker.

I currently have 4 halo tanks, an Aspire BDC glass tank, and borrowing a vision Spinner from my friend along with the 2 650mah halo batts. Only thing that sucks is the Vision Spinner doesn't work with the halo tanks but works fine with Aspire. The aspire also works with the triton batteries.

So far so good, havent really had a craving for a ciggarette since starting and my wife even tried some of the flavors.

My current daily vapes are Apple Rings mixed with sub-zero, and Tiki juice mixed with Subzero

Welcome and congrats, there are a few main sizes of fittings for tanks and cartos ,510,ego,808, I am not quite sure of the halo fitting. but most places sell adapters that screw on to the batterys to accept different tanks. they are cheap 2-4 dollars and save you from having to get all new stuff. I started with a 808 but then moved to 510 and ego because they are the most popular.

    Welcome.

Congrats on the no smoking. I myself have been vaping for over a year now, and smoking reg cigs at the same time, using the Logic & Njoy brands at first until I stumbled upon mods and RBA's & RDA's. So much cheaper to do it with mods and RBA's & RDA's and much more flavor and vapor too not to mention the cost is much lower after the initial set up cost. Plus it is a lot of fun building coils and wicks. I have been smoke free for almost 2 months now and I feel so much better. I can breathe without wheezing, I can take deep breaths without coughing, my allergies are a lot better and I no longer snore at night.

All I can say is find a local Vape store and visit it often and you will learn so much from other people.

    Good luck and welcome.

I was thinking about using the G6 cartos for any juice that cracks plastic tanks, but eventually down the line I might make the switch to a 510 device.

Welcome! I'm from just down the road from you (charlotte). I've been vaping for about a week now...haven't had a real cig in 4 days and loving it! Have you checked out madvapes? They, along with this forum, have been very helpful to me.

If you ever hear or see a loud and silver 03 mercury marauder, thats me....as far as madvapes goes, I have not

    Congratulations!
I have some Halo products in my rotation - be sure to check out the Halo forum here on ecf.
There is a thread there about adapters for Halo products. I seem to remember it saying you can get an 808D to ego\510 adapter at SmokTek.
    Check it out... and Welcome!

I've been creeping on there a little bit, making sure i buy the stuff that works with what i got already.

Welcome to ECF! Halo uses an 808 D-1 connection for their batteries and tanks. In order to use your Halo tanks on your Vision Spinner, you'll need a 510 battery to 808 D1 adapter. While that will work if you mainly want to stick with Halo, I do recommend that you switch over to more batteries like the Spinner. The Spinner uses much more common 510 and Ego connections. This will open your options for toppers and batteries. Halo does make quality devices though, if you just want to stick with them. Another company that uses the 808 D1 connection is Smokeless Image.
