New vaper looking for some advice

Hey Guys, just made the switch over from analogs. I received my provari in the mail today and couldn't have been more excited to open the package and kick the stinky habit. I also ordered a few e-juices along with it, but I'm not to satisfied with the two versions of menthol I got. I smoked Newports and would love something close to that throat hit/taste. Any recommendations from you veterans would be great? I ordered a few basic tanks and also wanted some opinions on stainless steel tanks for the provari, best looking/performance?

Above are stainless steel cartotanks from Hoosier Vapes. The top cap and mouthpiece are one piece, and twist off the tank body for easy juice filling. About $60.

Above is a metal cartotank from Big Daddy Vapor. These have a juice window that is safe for cinnamon and citrus flavored liquid. About $50. Big Daddy 5ml Tanks & Tubes : Big Daddy Vapor

I can help you with the menthols--since Bad covered the tanks! :)

I vape menthol, even though I never smoked menthol cigarettes. Many people say that Nhaler's menthols, like Drewport and Nuport, remind them of the real thing. I also like the menthols from Backwoods Brew.

Welcome to ECF and happy vaping!

It may take some time for you to determine what kind of flavors you like vaping. Luckily, for you there are a ton of really good juice vendors out there. Most people I know find out that they don't actually like vaping tobacco or menthol even though the smoked menthol, etc. I recommend looking at vendors who sell sample packs - otherwise, you will quickly end up spending a lot of money just trying to find the right juice for you.

As far as tanks go, I'm not sure about stainless steel, but the Kir Fanis Prive and Prive Special look really nice on the Provari - they are hard to get, but I am completely enjoying mine.

If you've just received your juices in the mail they probably need to steep a bit. I havent ordered Menthol juice yet, so don't if that rule applies to that kind as well...but I'm betting it does.

Tanks for the tip! Can you explain steeping? I have seen a couple people referring to it but not sure what it means

Im glad you like the provari, just got mine on the 22nd and I love it!

Steeping is letting the bottle sit so the flavors can blend better. Kinda like how aged wine tastes better. I take my caps off all my juices and set them on a shelf where there isnt much light. I put the cap on and shake the bottles once a day, then take the cap back off and continue the next day. Taste your juices when you get them, and if you dont like some of them right away, try doing this and tasting them again every 2-3 days. BTW, i have only left my caps off for 3 days straight at most at this point....
