Well I am a newbie to the vaping world and I have been using my Ego-C 1000mah battery with Vision eGo Clearomizer V3 and getting on great. I am looking to change a few bits but have managed to get myself totally confused by all the information around and watching hours of YouTube guides so I thought I'd ask the experts to bounce a few ideas around and see if I'm on the right track or heading for disaster. My future plans would be to upgrade fully to the Provari. :)

Ok for my new clearo I was thinking the Kanger Evod bottom feed coil. Are they easy to rebuild?

Rebuilding the atty I found this on eBay but have no idea what diameter wire or wick size I should buy?? I have watched a few videos on this and am confused by seeing people adding another wick on top of the coil what does that do, also will I need some sort of ohm tester?

I like the sound of dripping to taste the flavours before filling a tank up and was looking at this kind of setup if its right? Also I assume you just rinse these out after dripping to try a new flavours?

Any help would be greatly appreciated so thanks in advance.
Gavin. :)

The Provari is a very good choice.

I don't use or like clearo's so I can't help you there.

If you are just starting out with rebuilding coils I would suggest you buy a variety of Kanthal A sizes...30, 32,34 is a good start. It takes experimenting to find the gauge you like.

Adding another wick on top is for more absorbency. That extra wick will hold more juice so less dry hits, more juicy hits.

A multimeter is a much for vaping and especially for rebuilding coils. Any cheap digital at a local hardware store will do. Of course, the more you spend the more accurate it should be.

Any atty will do for testing juice and it's a good idea to drip with an atty before filling a carto. I always do so I don't waste a carto on juice I don't like. I usually just blow out the old juice and add the new. They kind of blend together at first but after vaping that and adding a few more drops then the new flavor comes through. You can rinse but some flavors are pretty strong and will remain.

Hi Fuzzy! I do use and like clearos, so I can help with that part of your question.

Kanger eVod, T3, T3 mini and MT3 and Tabac BCC are pretty much alike as they are all bottom changeable coil devices. They can be rebuilt, but they are not rebuildable, per se. The replacement coils are inexpensive, especially for the eVod where you don't have to replace the base, so I wouldn't bother rebuilding them. The coils last a long time, can be cleaned and even dry burned.

Good luck and happy vaping!
