I know this has been long but just wanting to help fellow newcomers with any experience I might have and can contribute! Good luck!

WOW, I was not expecting such a thorough reply. I read the whole thing, and I very much appreciate all the advice and personal anecdotes! I will definitely take the advice and I'm adding a couple of things to my to-buy list as we "speak!"

Enjoy your journey! It's ok to try one of each.

That's kinda my "thing," haha. When I get into something (i.e. vaping), I just go full-bore and try everything and learn everything. I've only been doing this for a week and I'm already planning on getting some Protanks, a rebuildable, a nautilus, some cartos, and about 5,000 juices (okay that one was an exaggeration), plus all the necessary accessories and some PGA for cleaning. Goodbye paycheck! It's my addictive personality...

...at least I'm not smoking!

The only thing about that is, I also love citrus and cinnamon flavors. I don't want cracked tanks!

Oh, I see. Better safe than sorry. I vaped both cinnamon and citrus in plastic for over 18 months. However, I recently bought a citrus that said "do not use in tanks other than glass/pyrex..." so it's going in mini Protanks.

Exactly. Also, no matter the quality, plastic starts to leech/absorb flavor after a while, and I want tanks that will last. That's why I was looking into rebuildables in the first place. For now, though, I'll get a few more cheap ones, because I REALLY want to try my new Boba's Bounty when I get home.

this is who i got mine from Ryan Medeiros Stainlessvapetanks on ebay. He has excellent reviews. He has several designs to choice from. I got mine in 3 days excellent speed.

Note: If you get one wash it before use with hot water and soap. CNC solution may still be present and its been handled if you know what i mean.

Thanks for the tips! Decent prices, too.

I got some Smok Tech Pyrex Aro tanks when I got my first ego kit. They are a really nice glass tank and I haven't had any leaking, gurgling problems with them. They also fit very nicely on my MVP 2, so I just ordered a few more so I can have different flavors loaded and ready. They hold a good quantity of juice, too. Here is a link if you'd like to check them out:

I wondered if those were any good. Thanks for the tip. Maybe those would be a good stepping stone for a newbie. I don't know if I'm ready for RBDs just yet =)

Yea.. Another Marylander :toast:

The protank w/ air control valve pretty much makes it an aerotank... Both are good same goes for the iclear (I used the iclear 30s). However, I have found if you switch up different heavy VG juice, I have found myself replacing the coils more frequently even after cleaning em... I have my eye on the kanger aero mega
Kanger Aerotank-Mega clearomizer – KangerTech
Which looks to knock off the aspire nautilus, which while impressive has some drawbacks (easy to break on a fall, locking ring failing)..

There are a number of b/m places offering good services, check the Marylander group...

Welcome

Thanks for the welcome! And for the suggestion about the MD group -- didn't even see that one! Yes, I'm definitely looking forward to the Aerotank Mega. You'd better believe I'll be hunting out deals. Until then, I now have a total of 4 Nautiluses in my possession, with another 2 on the way. I like to just be able to reach out and grab whatever flavor I feel like vaping. I also have about a billion sample bottles of liquid now, trying to find my favorite flavors. I'm an obsessive hedonist.

I vape Bobas bounty as a all day vape which is 100 % vg and I went thru numerous clearos bottom coils etc and the only one I have found that works the best is carto tanks from ibtanked the only downside is I only get 4 to 5 days out of the carto but really to me it's your best option I guess dripping would work well but I don't have the time for it

So far, I'm loving the performance of my Nautiluses. I like a tight draw so the smallest two settings are perfect for me. I've been letting the Boba's steep for about 2 weeks and I'm so ready to try it again on something other than an iClear 16. Might just become an ADV for me too!

Others have recommended ibtanked to me, but I have yet to try them out. Nautiluses work for me right now, with little maintenance, so I'm sticking with 'em for a bit. However, I'm a fast learner and voracious information consumer, so I'll probably continue to try new things soon =). Right now, I'm busy buying up about a billion sample bottles to find my favorite flavors. Going to order from ECBlends soon -- I'm a sucker for customization.
