Hi vapers !
So I'm new here, and new to vaping. I bought an EVOD starter kit back in March, tried it a few times but didn't stick to it. I just tried again last week - right before Memorial day week-end because I had 5 days off and knew I wouldn't have as many temptations to smoke as I do at work. First few days, I both smoked and vaped, but I didn't go out an buy a new pack. First huge improvement. Not having a pack of cigarettes on hand and not being bothered to go out and buy one, which I would have done even at 3am before vaping.
First few days, I still craved cigarettes, and... hem... I smoked the butts I had in the ashtray (I tend to not smoke my cigarettes all the way to the filter so there's always like half an inch left).
After just a couple of days I realized I am still craving smoking (of course), but I'm not craving cigarettes anymore. Saying no when my colleagues offer one has become easy, and it's only been a week. I chain vape, though
but don't sweat it. I believe it will regulate itself in time, and I have some very low or no-nic juice at hand.
So here I am, one week out, after smoking for 20 years (1PAD), and I don't *want* a cigarette anymore. Which, tbh, is a huge surprise to me, because I used to like them a lot, and not only the nicotine. I tried to stop numerous times (always using patches) but I always got back into it. My longest non-smoking period was 2.5 years.
Cheers !
