It's all personal choice. Each have advantaged and disadvantages. I am a genesis guy, so I recommend to check one out.

The mods, the batteries and their limits/capabilities, the atomizer, the kanthal wire, your wick of choice and how to build coils for your atomizer of choice. Then get a multi-meter and check your resistances before you ever think of firing the mod. Safety is of the utmost importance with rebuilding.
