I just got a new Jancy Dura-C starter kit, With some different juices. I really enjoy the vapor and flavor, but my hits seem to be a little inconsistent.

I used the paper clip method to fill my carts, and they hit great, but the vapor seems to thin out fairly quickly. I often find my self topping off after what seems to be only a few cigarettes worth of smoking. The atomizer is also making a gargling noise, but had no poor taste to it from the start.

So I guess my questions are, am I using to much liquid? Is the vapor supposed to run down so quickly?

I also noticed that the filling has bunched up a little, and am wondering is this will affect the hit.

This is my first post BTW, Thanks for your time!

A few questions I think should be answered before we can help you.

How much did you use to smoke a day and how much are you hitting your PV. People usually tend to vap a lot more than they used to smoke. The 510 I believe have a cart size of about 6-7 cigs? Someone correct me if I am wrong here. Also, you should be vaping less than what you usually smoke since you are probably getting more nicotine per puff.

Gurgling could be a flooded atomizer. Drain it with paper towel and gravity, not sure if you can blow these out.

Washing the filler in water and patting it dry occasionally seems to fully revive the material.

Vapor reduction "after a few cigs worth" is pretty standard. Claims of cart life tend to be overly exaggerated.

Welcome to the forum, lots of people with more experience/smarter than me who might have better answers for you. Cheers.

Thanks for the quick info guys. I think I have maid myself a little paranoid about the atomizer, after reading so many forums saying they die left and right. Im really enjoying the vapor, but I wish there was a little more length between topping off my cart.

Oh and I smoked about a pack a day, I find myself not smoking my PV at all like an analog, Instead of lighting a fresh one every thirty or so minutes, I tend to take a few puffs and then set it down, and take a few more when I feel it is necessary.

I just got the Dura-C today, and I am already thinking about looking for a VP with a much bigger cart life.

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting a penstyle for home and use the 510 for on the run.

Once you start vaping for a few weeks you'll understand the balance of refilling or topping off your carts.

Gurgling noises definitely means your flooding your atomizer. Unscrew the battery every now and than and make sure your not leaking. It happens sometimes.

Vapor hit can mean you need a refill or your battery is losing strength. Its either or.

Definitely if you want a consistent hit you want a USB Passthrough. The longer you vape, the less battery you have and the less hit you get.

Not to be offensive. If you want a consistent hit you want a USB Passthrough, but you said if you get a Vapor Hit you need a refill, but don't you get the better hits with a good battery and no hits with a dead battery or empty cart?

My KISSBOX does not leak, I check and it makes a nice gargle/pop when the atomizer starts up with a nice new cart and freshly charged bat and I get a nice smooth hit from it.

I smoke 401's and am VERY happy with them. At first, I was filling my own carts and tried numerous ways to do so---I even tried switching the fabric to cigarette filters, which by the way is much better than the fabric that comes with the carts in my opinion. But, I found that dripping was easier for me, and then began to dip. Dipping is the easiest way to vape! I carry my juice two ways----I use a contact lens case, or a perfume bottle pendant that I fill with the juice and add a small sponge to the opening so that I can tip the bottle over and "stamp" it onto my atomizer. My little jeweled butterfly trinket box comes in handy too and I put him on a table so my juice doesn't disrupt my home decor. LOL
As far as the juice in concerned, I have tried quite a few brands. I heard about FreshSmoking (http://www.freshsmoking.com) on this forum and went to them because I wanted to try something different. I ordered from them both the deluxe e-liquid and the classic e-liquid. I was very surprised to find that the two brands they offer on their site both have extremely outstanding vapor and taste. So, while I am mentioning them, I feel they deserve to be praised for their fast shipping as well. I received my order from them super quick and recommend them highly.

The paperclip method of filling carts is not good over the long haul. Your filler will 'bunch up' towards the top, and this will leave an air gap at the bottom that is filling up with fluid and not getting soaked up by the filler material. This will cause dry vapes, and the loose juice in the bottom will eventually find itself into the little mouthpiece reservoir on the model 510 and you will get the gurgling sound.

Bite gently repeatedly on the end of the mouthpiece while you rotate the unit slowly and the little end cap will pop off in your mouth. Dry it with a tissue, and then dry the little reservoir as well. Miraculously the gurgle sound will cease!

Have a great day!...and welcome to the club! :)
