Im not a big fan of posting on message boards, I am a lurker that uses them for information mostly, but I tried to buy something from a member in the classifieds and I guess the board is making me post 5 times at least until I can contact people/post. Grrr. Going to miss that deal i guess.
Started vaping about 3 weeks ago after a friend from work demonstrated his Blu to me. Ordered a 510 carto kit and I was off. A couple days later i realized that the 2 batteries that came with it were never going to cut it so I ordered another 510 kit. About a week after I actually started using the first kit, the batteries both garbaged out. While waiting for the replacement batteries to come in the mail (thankfully I had the other kit by then and had 2 backup batteries already) the other 2 batteries started acting flakey. I dig the vaping experience and figured I would do my best to solve this battery problem right now, so I ordered an OMeGa. That seems to have taken the flakey battery problem out of the equation, that thing works great.
Now I am experimenting with juice flavors and atty/cartos to find what I like. I love the gadget side of this experience and have been ordering all kinds of juices and gidgets. Fun stuff.
I originally started this as a way to not have to go outside in the freezing cold to puff on a cigarette, not even really holding any faith that I would or even really wanted to actually quit. But, haven't even had the desire to smoke an "analog" since I started playing with these things. BONUS! Received my original kit on the day after thanksgiving. I still have 6 packs of smokes in the garage and have been carrying my open pack with 2 cigarettes in them and 2 lighters everywhere I go without touching them. 20 yr smoker, pack or so a day, lol. Someday I will have to toss them but after the ordeal I went through with the 510 kits, I guess having them is kind of security blanket, the flaky batteries were questioning my faith and im still kind of leery whether I can count on my OMeGa. Not the OMeGas fault, it hits every time and I haven't had anything odd happen, battery lasts forever, I change it out at night.
This board has been a great resource for information for me as well as the vaporcast podcast. Have already listened to every episode of that podcast. Im in balls deep!
