Just wanted to introduce myself here, i've been "analog" free for THREE WEEKS now. Friggin A! I'm 32 and been smokin since i was 13 or 14. I grew up in the south where tobacco is big. We chew it, smoke it, snort it and grow LOTS of it. As a matter of a fact the county i live in is the second biggest supplier of grown tobacco in the U.S. Second to only one county in N.C. and that county is not far from us. I really like my tobacco but i've found myself out of breath, with high blood pressure and there's no telling what other problems from smoking i have. I've been "vaping" for three weeks now with not a single puff from a "analog" I finally broke down and bought me a 510 starter kit. I had tried the disposables, which tasted terrible and had thrown the idea out the window. Well....i've decided i HAVE GOT TO STOP smoking and after using the eCig for a few days and i've found that i CAN do this! After swapping batteries from USB charger to charger over and over i started looking into a better "MOD" and found the "ECF Forum" by accident. Glad i found the forum i really need some info and this looks like a good place to find it. So with that being said......thanks to the forum and all the members, i look forward to all the good information there is to be found here!

Welcome to ECF, apbtdog1

Although I very much and enjoy and recommend my 808 Volt batteries from Smokeless Image for beginning vapers, I recognize the want for something more here. There are a lot of good products out there, and with plenty of research, you'll find the one that suits you. That said, I'll plug my beloved Volt again, by recommending you at least look at the Volt X2. It is the "mid" size battery step up from Smokeless Image. The 1300 X2 lasts me anywhere from 2 to 3 days, depending on my vaping moods. If one is a heavy vaper, 1 day might be it. Regardless, some folks have found a 650 or 900 will go the same distance, but I like having the staying power of a 1300. It will still use the same 808 carts as the regular 808, and it will easily take any of your 510 equipment with a very inexpensive 510 to 808 adapter, so you would not need to switch connections.

No matter your choice, the biggest and best choice you've already made was to quit smoking tobacco cigarettes. That is something to be proud of and any device you choose to help keep you away from tobacco is an excellent choice. There is a lot of good research here.
