New Vapor/Starfire Cig (Non)Review

Hey guys, I just joined the site and am looking forward to being a vapor soon! I just wanted to say hello and also share some thoughts on starfire cigs. This is actually not a review but a cautionary tale about my experience with them.

I initially placed an order with starfirecigs.com on February 19, 2013. As of today (March 13) they still have not SHIPPED!? I have canceled my order already and decided to go with another brand. The thing that worried me the most about this company is not the fact that I've waited so long...I think it wouldn't have been such a problem if the company had been a little more honest with me.

So I placed an order on Feb. 19th over the phone. I was told to allow 7-10 business days for my kit to arrive. Ok...10 days later, no kit. I called and asked them what was going on and they told me they had sold out of the black kits and they were on back order. My kit should ship out next week. On top of that they would throw in another mini kit and upgrade my shipping to 2 day UPS. Sweet. Another week goes by and still no shipment, no tracking number, no nothing! I called again over the weekend and they said they received their shipment and my order will be going out on Monday. FINALLY! The wait is over, right? Wrong. Monday night I received no indication my order has shipped so I call them again to see what was going on. Apparently I had been lied to since they didn't get their shipment in. I immediately canceled my order. The woman I spoke to said she was having computer issues and couldn't process my cancellation right then, but she would do it when the computer was fixed. Of course I don't believe her...

Which brings us to today. I called to make SURE my order was cancelled and guess what? Nope...it wasn't. They had JUST charged my credit card and the woman on the phone told me she couldn't cancel it because the order was already packed and ready to ship. More BS. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but one wasn't available. She told me a supervisor would call me. Someone actually called me a few minutes later and told me she can and will cancel the order and refund my money.

Hopefully this fiasco is over. If you enjoy being given the run around and like dealing with shady business...by all means. Otherwise stay away from Starfirecigs.

The happy ending to this story though is I ordered a kit from Volcano YESTERDAY and it's already on it's way. Tracking # says I'll be vaping by Friday :D

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with them. I ordered and had a problem and they went overboard for me. Sent replacement immediately and through in a 5 pack of carts for free. I guess you're one of the rare ones for Murphy's Law.
 
Few month ago a friend of mine recommended me Starfire e-cigarettes (www.starfirecigs.com) he smokes. I tried and really enjoyed them. I can's say Starfire are better or worth than other, the feeling are as good as some other big brands like V2 or Blu. But I like their customer service. I would really recommend them and I'm sorry to hear about your experience.
