Hello all,

I bought a https://www............/shopping/products/48-E-Cigarette-EGO-T/462-Electronic-Cigarette-EGO-T/ and it will be arriving on Monday. Hoping to quit regular old cigs as I am sure this is a "healthier" and cheaper lifestyle to go by. Now I didn't buy anything extra except a couple bottle of juices with this kit. Should I be buying anything else? I have heard about a low resistance atomizer for this which makes it a much better experience. But anything else such as coils or atomizers I should be buying so I dont run into a problem one day and not be able to use my new vape until what I need comes in the mail? Total newbie here to vaping :p Thanks.

Welcome to ECF!
Link didnt work but its always good to have at least 2 batteries, extra juice and coils. You will go through juice and coils the most so stocking up is good. Always good to put a little $$ aside to try new things too (new tanks and juice especially).
Happy Vaping!

Well this is what came with the kit:

Electronic Cigarette EGO-T Package includes:

- TWO eGo-T Atomizer
- TWO eGo-T Batteries with 5 click shut off system*
- FIVE eGo Tank Eliq-Cart Cartridges
- ONE USB Charger
- ONE Wall Charger
- ONE Carrying Bag
- User Manual.
- Plus ONE Bottle of E-Liquid !

How do I tell if things are compatible with the eGo-T? I know some things wont work from what I have read. The batteries are 650, should I need to buy bigger ones? Also any good websites to buy juice from that ship from the USA so I don't have to wait for shipments from China? Thanks for the help, truely appreciate it. I feel lost entering this world of vaping.

Welcome to the club! Your going to enjoy the ride such great advise on this fourm. Here's what I've learned

Get a good quality battery delivery devise such as provari (I know super expensive but you'll save money in the end not buying lots of cheap batteries)
Get a kanger pro tank or two or three
Get some good juice from either mister E or fuzion
Go big at first on your nic level so you don't have a relapse....

Enjoy

I think the kit you bought will be good for a beginner. I would just use it for a few days (at least) before you start buying other stuff. try to not get frustrated, vaping is not as easy as smoking, but for most of us it is worth it. and there are tons of people here to help you, and also youtube videos to help too.
the ego is a 510 device, so most 510 things should work, but you want to use the charger that came with it, not all chargers are compatible with all 510 devices.
the ego-T has an atty with a spike so you have to use the carts that are for an ego-T. but you can use the batteries with regular attys and carts/cartos.
I'm sure if I have said something that is wrong someone will kindly correct me :)
and remember that not everyone quits smoking as soon as they start vaping
and welcome to the forum :)

Behind you!
The ego is the first battery which started to standardize the fittings. Almost anything will work on an ego battery now. 650mah is good to start and between 2 of them you should be fine as long as one is charging while using the other. I would (down the line) look at other tank options. Protanks, Evod, T3, Viva Nova all work great with egos. Stock up on Juice! Get into a juice rotation so juice is always steeping or ready to use.

Not a bad kit, other than the older Ego-T tank system was touch and go to use, had a learning curve. The "Ego" battery has 2 threadings, the inner threading is "510" so any 510 attachement will work with it, 510 cartomizers, 510 and 306 drip atomizers, Vivi Nova tanks, Kanger Protank, iClear30s, etc. The outer threading was designed for the Ego "Cone" or "Ego-C", and again various attachements use this threading, Kanger T3's, Evods, most CE# (being a number ie CE4 "Stardust"), so your array of attachments are broad and wide with the Ego style battery. Currently I'd suggest trying out cartomizers, couple tanks, tanks you have top coil and bottom coil types, like Vivi Nova and iClears are top coil, T3's, Evods, Protank are bottom coil, and a basic drip atomizer. Drip atomizers are great for juice testing, 2,3, to 4 drops of liquid get between 5-10 vapes before needing more so easy to switch between flavors. Cartomizers are basic, tube with filler that absorbs and holds liquid, and an atomizer in it, hold up to 30 drops on a standard carto, great portability wise, and if you like these you can get a cartomizer tank, which is an upgrade, carto with a hole in the side, tank surrounding it filled with liquid, feeds the carto more for extended use. Clearomizer, or self coiled tank basically all they are have a wicking system of some sort, that passes liquid to the coil, and come in various types, but the basic 2 are top coil with long wicks to bottom coil with very short wicks. Both styles have their strengths and weaknesses, top coils being a warmer vape, due to the coil is closer to your mouth and needs tilting constantly to keep the wicks wet. Bottom coils are a generally a cooler vape, suffer from gurgling and flooding once the liquid level gets to low, but the strong point, they can vape at any angle and the coils are constantly wet, no dry hits like a top coil can do. Suggest this "experimentation" because everyone vapes differently and expects a vape experience unique to themselves, testing these various attachments, you find your sweet optimal spot to you, just like juices, you'll find what sets your bells and whistles off, where the same liquid might make me go, bleh. Vaping is unique to the user themselves. Later down the road you might look at a larger battery in milli-amp hours (mah), or more advance device, though having backups for your backups is a major rule of thumb in vaping, so next couple of weeks, look into a pair of Ego Twists/Vision Spinners would be an upgrade, lets you experience variable voltage and where you will be able to dial in your optimal temp depending on liquid. Good luck, and welcome to the wild west world of vaping =D

Oh man, I am excited! It arrived 5 min ago! 3 days early! Now I am waiting for my first battery to fully charge, the wait is horrible lol

Oh forgot to ask since people who have ordered from mtbakervapor, do their juices come in a drip bottle? One of the juice I got didnt come with a dripper or anything from some other website. Wondering if I should buy some dripper bottles so when I get juice from mtbaker I dont have to wait!
