Sadly there is no "best". The biggest difference these days is what do you want, because it's out there.

I'm a fan of istick for budget box. Got my wife one back when and she liked it so much I got her a spare, then her dad like it so much he stole her spare so I had to get her another one.

You said you have an aspire tank... if it's a nautilus you might just want to replace your spinner with a cheap 20 watt mod. You'd be amazed at the difference. Spinners and egos just don't have the power to make that tank work as well as it can.

That question here... wow you will be overwhelmed. Its like asking "What is the best car" at a car show. Everyone has their own opinion.
Well here is mine... If you are looking at a budget...
Istick 50w with a Kanger Subtank mini.
50w in a B&M is around 45-50
Subtank is around the same.
If you want to look online you can find great deals.

What you ask is hard to answer, because there are so many options available today. Different battery devices and different juice delivery devices (ie tanks) tend to specialize for particular vaping styles. Being new, you likely don't yet know what your particular vaping style is. This can only be discovered by trying different vaporizer setups.

Being a 2 pack per day smoker, the nicotine content in your e-liquids will be most important. 24 mg is generally recommended for that amount of smoking. However, if you find it has too much of a throat hit or harshness, you may need to drop down to 18 mg or 12 mg.

I would not recommend the Triton setups. They use proprietary equipment forcing you to use only their products. Most other setups use non-proprietary parts to make it easier to custom switch to other pieces of gear as you desire.

$40 is not a very high budget for a vaporizer setup. $100 for a battery device, tank, replacement coils, and e-liquid is a better price range for anything of decent quality. Then, since we are so dependent upon batteries to vape, you need a backup for everything in your setup. Don't put yourself in a situation where you need to buy another pack of cigs if your battery fails or your tank breaks.

I'm pretty sure that you spent at least $100 a month if you smoked two packs per day. Convert that money into a quality setup for vaping. Once you have your batteries and tanks, your subsequent costs will be only for replacement coils and e-liquid. That will end up being a significant cost saving over smoking.

This blog should help with the lingo:

Best product? You need money to play in that game.

Best product you can afford and be happy with would have been a better way to ask your question. Mogar is correct in his pricing. Subtank is ok, but I prefer the Atlantis or Arctic...but you may need a better mod for the Arctic due to battery usage.

What I'm suggesting for people dedicated to quitting smoking and wanting something that will power a wide range of RDAs and tanks, is the Sigelei 150. It is powerful, and has plenty of power in reserve...especially if you vape like me, which is akin to a freight train. I can get 12 plus hours on a charge with the Sig 150 and RDA set to 55W, and even longer if I have the Arctic on the box.

You really can't go cheap on vaping hardware, and expect anything to last more than a month or so. Spending the bigger dollars now on gear will save you money in the long run. Ask me how I know...and I'll show you a pile of hardware that didn't produce to my liking.

Let me try to get more specific to see what i can get....What is a good battery and Tank set up for a heavy vaporer that is travel friendly. Lets just say the price range isnt as much as a concern to me even if it is up to 100 or more dollars. Something that has a good battery life and tanks that need a rocket scientist to configure. I like alot of vap to inhale and exhale and a good hit to the throat ( i know that might have more to do with the liquid than the actual machine. I liked the aspire tank and battery when it actually worked, but the vision spinner battery didnt seem to last long because i vape so heavy. Thanks for the replies guys and the help because this has been a good learning experience so far and im glad there are people willing to help out

Subtank mini is good. Stock coils and a rebuildable section if in the future you want to have a go at building.
As mentioned though there are many out there , so just grab a few suggestions and go look them up and see what you think.

Mods well the isticks are good , though some issues starting to pop up for a few people , that can be said for many products though.
I have a sigelei mod which has been good. Many like mvp mods.
ipv mini mod

I would recommend the Innokin MVP3 for the battery device. This is a proven company. The MVP3 has various battery configurations depending on how long you desire the battery to last per charge; however keep in mind the longer lasting models will be larger in size than those with shorter battery time. You can use nearly any juice delivery device (tank) with this.

You are getting good advice. There is no "best" but I know two things.

Halo Triton is not what you are looking for.

Be very, very careful where you buy. There are plenty of online brand shops (all in one hardware and liquid) that will take your $100 for a $30 e-cig.

Independent vaping shops are the answer. Shop around. If you can't find it at other shops, it's probably not worth buying.

I'd suggest a 30 watt iStick and a Nautilus. I've got drippers and Subtanks but use the iStick/Nautilus all day at work. It's small enough to carry in my shirt pocket and a filled Nautilus (5ml) lasts me all day. If you want to use a sub ohm tank, you'll have to carry juice with you and recharge the battery during the day. The Nautilus runs fine at 10-15 watts and that will help with battery life.

I think the Subtank Nano / iStick 30 combo is very tough to beat for a small and affordable package that can deliver the vapor. Even after you move on to a bigger box and different atomizers, that package will remain an excellent travel / work rig.

I agree.
Given that I use both Nautilus (mini) and Subtank (Nano) on iSticks, both are a great choice.
Very different vaping experience though... one is gentle and not too cloudy (Nautilus) and the other is a mad vapor machine. (Subtank).

You can imagine which one I take to work. :)

As everyone's stated - there's no 'best' product - and everyone is different - but here's a good start (btw - I smoked 1-2packs per day for 30 years... and this is what I quit on).

Go get a good built in battery to start (you'll eventually go to some mod where you just change out a bunch of rechargable batteries - you'll figure this out along the way). The Aspire SubOhm CF Battery is enough umph to get you started.

Go get a Kanger Subtank Mini (22mm 4.5ml tank). You get 2 different strength coils in here. A milder 1.2ohm coil (which is good if your lungs are screwed up), and a 0.5ohm coil (which generates a more heat, and more vapor/smoke).

Plus you get a mini rebuildable (which you can play around with when you understand more about advanced ecigs).

Play with this tank and battery for a while. It will keep you off the cigs, and will give you time to research if you want to start going down the path of building your own stuff (and hence atuning it to your own tastes).
