Hello!!

After smoking for about 25 yrs I have given it up and begun the e-cig. I am using the Green Smoke menthol 16mg cart now. I also ordered Red Dragon but haven't received it yet. I am going to see which I like better and return the other. I find the battery doesnt last long and aside from when I start a new cart it's like sucking air for the most part. I'm not experienced enough with this yet to try making my own so I'll stick with the pre-filled carts. I have a few q's I hope you can help me with :)

With these 2 piece systems like Green Smoke, are the carts universal? If so, where are they the cheapest to buy? How long does the battery charge really last? Seems like maybe a few hours at best. I know it said one cart lasts the same as one pack but I know that is not true lol I've gone through 2 today already so umm no. I'm figuring this out on my own... 2 a day works for me. Ok now with this type of system which doesnt seem to be as popular as some, which one is truly the best all around? I dont like the sucking air thing :confused: aside from that everything is ok. It does seem like I want to puff more than I did with reg cigs though not sure why.

Thanks for any help :)

Hi Tori, welcome aboard!!

You're doing the right thing, trying other types of e-cigs to find what works for you. I can't really answer your questions b/c I'm not familiar with the models but wanted to say hi! Oh, and don't discount buying a little juice and 'topping off' your prefilled carts. It can really help with the flavor and vapor production.

Good luck! I'm sure someone will come along who can help more. :)

Hello Tori! Welcome to the forum! I have been researching alot of differant e-cigs myself here lately. I saw the Green Smoke and was a little cautious of it since its the only 2 piece system I have seen. Of course I had to start with the over priced piece of crap known as the NJoy NPro. Everything I have heard so far was the best models seem to be the 801 and 510. If you search around the New Members Forum posts from a couple days ago there is a link somewhere to an 801 kit that is less than $30! Hopefully someone who knows it can repost it here for you. I will look back through and repost if I find it. Good Luck!

Not familiar with your model..........but when starting out try to puff then drag real lightly. It takes some time adjust.

IMO the 510 vapes like crazy but has small batteries, the janty stick and mods have larger battery life for hardcore vaping

(if you smoked for 25 years you must of started in the crib)

As someone who also bought an NPro before moving on to the 510 model, I have to suggest that you do not totallly give up on your NPro just yet.

That really wide atomizer bridge is great from dripping, but because the batteries are not sealed you have to be careful and it really helps to have a precision dropper bottle. Just take out the cartridge and widen the hole at the end of the mouthpiece to greatly improve the draw. I find I get a lot more flavor and vapor out of the NPro this way, and it has actually becomes a very useful device for me in certain situations.

But I do currently have on order an atomizer for the DSE103 which fits the NPro (RN4081) and has an exposed atomizer bridge. I am going to try using it for dipping instead of dripping to eliminate the previously mentioned issues of non-sealed batteries and precision dripping.

Deadcat;
Are you aware that the DSE103 need's a DSE103 cart? RN4081 carts won't fit. Just an FYI in case you didn't know.
Cheers;

Yes, sir, I have noted that in a number of your posts.
I have some DSE103 cartridges coming as well.

I plan to use them without cartridges since I'll be dipping.
And I figure it will fit just fine, but I'm not taking any chances.

B/CS! Your almost a yankee :D ...you know where mcAllen is right? I'm so close to mexico I could walk there! :D just kidding around....

I'm a transplant, actually... :p Moved down to the Dallas area in the mid-70's and Texas has been home ever since. Dallas area, then San Antonio and now B/CS...

I'm familiar with the general area where McAllen is, anyway...back about 20 years ago I had to pick up a horse south of Alice (if I recall correctly). Got off work, picked up the trailer, drove from SA down there, got the horse caught and loaded up, drove back...that was fun, he hadn't been trailered before and was dancing all over the place!

I know that feeling, my wife is a horse trainer....we own/co-own 14 right now....I'm tired of mucking stalls! :D , we train dogs too...
