I just had the worst showering experience ever... my 4yr old son was still asleep so I was like YAY I can take a quick shower in peace for once.. as soon as I step into the water he comes walking down the stairs, I'm like ok whatever thats fine, I tell him to grab his drink from the fridge and watch some cartoons. A minute or 2 later my dogs start barking and going nuts, I'm like wth is someone at the door?? they stop barking after a bit.. I continue to shower.. Not 2 minutes later the smoke alarm in the hallway starts beeping and going off, my son is running and screaming the dogs are barking again. I have shampoo in my hair soap all over me so I am yelling for Noah to come to me, I am trying to rinse very quickly and I ask him if he sees a fire or any smoke or smells anything. He says no all I smell is the cat poop because he didnt cover it with his litter... I say ok thats not important right now, is there a fire???? Mean while I jump out of the shower soaking wet grab a towel and start looking around, I see nothing, no smoke, no fire... So now I have to try to reach the ceiling and unhook the alarm thats still loudly going off and I have a very short person. First I try a kids chair, cant reach it, so then I wheel my computer chair to the hall way I climb up trying not to spin around and fall all while still soaking wet and trying to hold my towel on with one hand and rip the thing off the wall... no ideal why it went off except maybe the battery was going bad but then it just normally starts to beep once randomly... Oh ya and all of this happened while my husband lay sound asleep upstairs...
Are we all having a good friday yet? Mine isnt to bad thankya.

OMG Kai....knowing that nothing was wrong makes this such a hilarious story
But I can soooo empathize with the panic feeling while being all soaped up in the shower!
WTH Kaibot! Thats horrible!
See! I always wanted to market a nanny cam that would work in the shower! No other place or time can a person be more vulnerable. 
Glad your kid is ok, and the house isnt on fire!
What can I say to this except it's Friday the 13th.
Totally funny though.
