No they did not touch Red Dwarf..
I'm often amazed by the shows that I've loved which have been canceled, or in the case of Red Dwarf, never had a chance. I can't follow the reasoning. I don't know if they're too cerebral for the masses, or if they get too close to some kind of truth.
It doesn't seem to always be based on ratings. Plus, they'll do things like move a show around on air day and time slots to mess people up, making room for something new, thinking that folks who like it will follow the changes. Then they put it in the Friday Kill slots. TV shows are based on the money they make from commercials. If you have a popular show, why mess with success?

At the end of this game, We made note of that post number. ALL posts from that point till just before the start of the next contest are entered into this little game. Not sure what you mean by that. Red Dwarf went on for 10 series (seasons in the US). Unless you mean the American version, but that one was just horrible so it never made the air. I mean... they made Rimmer COOL. Really?!?
