I'm busy spending money. My floor lamp has taken a dislike to CLF bulbs. It makes crackling noises. So one bulb out and my last luminescent bulb is it. My desk lamp just died. I put in a new bulb and it worked for a minute and went out. Jiggled the bulb and got another minute. So it's the socket, not the bulb. It was a cheap lamp but the mini-flood bulbs it takes are not cheap so I just ordered an LED desk lamp. Fingers crossed, but it looks like it's a good one.
