I'm gonna go lay me down for a while now. Only got a few hours last night, and I'm about to pass out in my chair.
See ya later, Friends and Helpers.

Stalking tracking, but not vapemail this time. Wife is at home waiting for UPS to bring her a new pancreas. Hers broke on Saturday.

Don't even know if they offer 'em. If they do, it's all done though insurance and medicare. Comes with a 5-year warranty... which expired in December.
Unfortunately, nope. She went to put it on after her shower and it wasn't working. Had to spend 80 bucks on a bottle of insulin (about a month's supply) that she's going to use two days worth of and throw away.![]()

guy here at work has that exact same pump! From what i understand, they are NOT cheap! Good luck with it tho! I assume she has to inject until the new one gets in? i dont do well with needles. In fact, i'm not getting syringes to measure my DIY (when i go that route) simply because they give me the heebie jeebies

Is she on a transplant list? She's been doing it since she was 12, so needles aren't an issue for her. Yeah, she's had to inject all weekend. She's been on the pump for over 10 years now so she felt a bit naked walking around without it this weekend. Especially since she just started using the Continuous Glucose Monitor this month too. That was the big bummer... not having that feedback. Kind of like flying blind going back to injections.
