I'll admit I was too scared to go in there at first too but my kid wasn't having it and he was kinda little to at the time to be running amok all by himself so I took a deep breath and off we went. Its pretty open space from the opening under the whale to the odd looking place that looks like a fountain drain (where the wall meets the floor in the main room) but if you go past there it goes round a corner and then there is a tight spot. Ive gained a few pounds too since last time so I would really have to think about it before trying it now lol And its a really weird feeling being in a little tunnel running under the place. I'm not claustrophobic that I know of but being down there did make me a bit uneasy and got my heart pounding a bit. Little guy loved it though and had a blast
