If I may ask, it looks like you're wrapping a coil around a needle, then inserting the coil into 2mm EKOWOOL, and using that in a ProTank.
It that what you're doing?
NO I stick that big needle through the hollow center of the wick then rap the coil around it then I install needle wick and coil into the head, put in the rubber thing then the pin. At that point the wires are still sticking out so I give them a little tug to tighten them up a little if everything looks good snap the tube thing back on if not you can pull the pin back out and mess with it some and put the pin back as long as the needle is through the wick it stays nice and straight when it all looks good snap the tube thing on trim the wires then pull out the needle and trim the wick

Do you find that the Hollow 2mm EKOWOOL works better for you than a Regular Solid Silica 2mm Wick? I'd think the extra Mass would work better for Wicking. I know someone who uses 4 pieces of solid Silica to make a 4mm Wick in a ProTank. He gets a ~3.0Ω Coil with 32g Kanthal and he loves it. I'm with you on the ohms range, but I'm just asking about the 2mm EKOWOOL.
I think the hollow wick feeds better than solid I know I go through more juice and get a lot more vapor and the flavor is the best I've ever had, the one I'm useing now has 6 tankful's on it and still works like new and not a drop of leakage
Just as with anything vaping related.....everyone has their own opinions on what works best. So many swear by cotton and eko and anything but silica

Next I'm going to try the EKOWOOL with the cotton center, one thing is for sure by the time I'm done I'll have enough wick around here too last a lifetime
