From what I've been reading that place is a mess first with the postal service then a storm and now a holiday and they don't just take a day more like a week

I ordered my first PV direct from China at the very beginning of December. The vendor shipped it out promptly and it hit the holiday mail. I got it a day after Christmas. Lesson learned. Do not buy anything from there that you need soon. It is for stocking up only.

Yeah, dripping really didn't do it for me. I much prefer to fill a clearo and go. I might just not get to do darker liquids unless I want to go though coils faster.

You can still rebuild clearos. I've not done it yet, but there's a tonne of youtube vids about how to recoil protanks and what not. Slightly more finniky than the RDA sort, but nothing horrifying. Worth a punt.

It really depends on your wick and coil, sometimes I use allot of wick and keep my coil up high.
When I do this I can do like 20 drops but right now I have a low profile coil and only get like 8 drops.

Does anyone use the coil that just come out of box with the octo? Dunno if it's the type, or just the folk who make them up at the vendor here, but I'd been warned the premades where rubbish and gawd understatement! First two flashed and popped instantly, checked the resistance of the third and it refused to settle, kept swinging between 0.8 and 8.2. Rewrapped it and got it to stabilise, no problem. Just no idea if those kamikaze wires were because the octo setup is moronic, the wires were wrapped too loose (oh yeah, the wicks fell straight out of another of the premades, that kind of 'loose'!) or what they did that I should be avoiding.
