You're welcome CJ. I thought about buying one of those neat little ohm checkers. Mentioned it to hubby. He handed me one of his meters and showed me how to use it. Now I'm all set and saved the cash for other vaping stuff. :D

The ohm checkers do have an advantage over most multimeters ( exceptions are the really expensive ones )... the checkers are more accurate since they are made for checking lower ohm amounts... The plus/minus error percentage amounts are for a much smaller ohms range on the checkers than they are on a typical multimeter

Reworded... sort of... using just a 1% error ( most are less )

A 1% error for a 10 ohm checker is at most 0.1 ohm off ... give or take of course
A 1% error for a multimeter will depend on the range selected but say for a 200Ω range could be off by 2 ohms give or take.
