Some neighbors of mine took in a dog, Margaret, when her owner (also in this building) died. He was an alcoholic who didn't beat her but turned her into a neurotic, fearful mess. It took me over 5 years of meeting her in the lobby and elevator but she did eventually come right over to me to be petted. (It got easier when they adopted Sweetie who always came to be petted. She'd stand on her hind legs and cross her front paws over your arm to make sure you had good access. She was much livelier -- she ate their entire living room suite.)

There is a shot that it is good for.....that's about it

Layered shot......melon liqueur and sour chilled and poured in glass. Then that is layered with thin layer of chambord and yaeger. Down the whole thing and it's better than a sweet tart.
