Well wrapped my 400 mesh wick 3 different times and all 3 times the ohms were around 2.2 - so I pulsed it and a spark or flash then nothing....what am I doing wrong, it did the same exact thing 3 times in a row....

sounds like it's shorting out. i'd make sure it's fully oxidized and that the coils aren't touching each other or anything else. anything that will block the pathway. Although I do believe that you might get some better answers elsewhere on the forum. not sure where o_O We had to watch a bunch of youtube vids til we got it right.

Nothing wrong with 2.2 just play with the mods settings till you find your suitable vape. Anything 1. to 3. ohm is fine for a mod (some dont like to go too low) it's your taste you have to do some playing with. You will wrap many coils before you tweak to your taste. After all my work I sit at 1.8ish at 5 to 6(W) and that is just with some of my juices. Juise used plays a big part too... it take time to get it all sorted out....

Some spitting is normal but too much and your wick may need rolled tighter or the mesh some more oxidized.
The more you make the more you will get the hang of it... Just keep watching the vids....

If it went off like a flash bulb could be loose connection, too many volts,or dead short

Yeah that's what happened....coils too close to each other on the wick or what? I rolled the wick then oxidized....idk what else to try cause it read 2.2-2.4 all 3 times but got the same end result when I fired....

try one without the wick oh and turn the volts down as far as you can then sneek them up little by little
