You can't unwrap it and wrap it again. That breaks up the oxidation you made. And you can't oxidize it and then wrap it.

I've read that people oxidize the coil with a Glow Burn, and then slip the Wick inside it. But I haven't been able to try that. Those people keep the coil wet with distilled water. Maybe others have some hints for you. I'd like to hear a success story.


Plus, you have to Pulse the Coil. You can't hold the Fire Button for more than a few quick bursts at first... then gradually take it longer.

Yeah it always burns the kanthan between center post and wick....BUT when I wrap the coil around something (other than the mesh wick) it works, but then when I try to push the mesh wick through the wire it just flashes between the center post end wick and breaks.....but works fine if its just the coil alone......

No I don't fold it after I oxidize I just start rolling as tightly as possible then when I'm done I put the juice on it amd burn it again...

This has been bugging me... every time I post something less than 10 letters I get a message that it needs to be 10 letters. I've noticed throughout the pages that ppl can post a 4 letter word with a period behind it. ( tear .)
