FYI: For anybody wanting a holder or storage container for 18650 (or 2 18350) batteries I have found a cheep option.

Penny coin tubes with caps are just the right size around for a comfortable fit.

There is a bit of a gap at the top (about 5/8") so next trip to the hardware store I'm going to find some washers or grommets the right size to put 1 on top and bottom to both fill up the space (hate rattles) and cushion the battery ends.

This was not my idea originally but after spotting them on an auction site I'm quite happy with an ultra cheep storage solution for my extra batteries.

I've been wrapping mine in aluminum foil. They seem to get really hot after that. So I just wrap more foil around them.
