I just go out and bang on the downspout and he splits your right about the morning part about 9-9:30 every day
I had one that would rattle the tin up-spout rain-guard on my chimney. Drove me nuts. Took me a while to figure out what the heck it was. I couldn't figure out if he was just Crazy, or trying to dull his beak.
I went outside and yelled at him, but that didn't work, so I started throwing a small branch or something near him, hitting the roof, and he'd fly off. He quit doing it after a couple of weeks, and never came back. Whew.
