I had a whole tub of stardust heads I haven't bothered cleaning and have just been accumulating since probably February.Well I tossed them in some peroxide overnight, changed it the next day and threw the container in the sonic cleaner. Normally I just run a 20 minute cycle because the sonic cleaner needs to be used for work. This time however I got in a hurry with other things so I just kept turning it on again. It ran for at least three hours. I figured I'd probably destroyed a lot of them. But nope, out of around 30 heads, only one died, and more amazingly mostly they were all clean like new. Only three of them even needed dry burning, and those were ones with oddly coiled heads anyway. I'm going to have to schedule longer cleaning cycles in future.

So wait you put the container of peroxide with the heads in it in the sonic cleaner? So basically sonic cleaning in the peroxide? And I am assuming the cleaner just had regular water in it? And is it a heated kind of cleaner? I have been wanting to get one but everybody I've talked to tells me to get the heated cleaner which is 50 bucks more than the unheated one (which puts it well outside my budget lol).
