if you are talking about the blue one....I run mine unregulated...and when the battery starts running low, it will switch to regulated for a while....that's when I charge the battery. If I don't notice the light change, when the batt depletes, the button will flash when you press it.

Don't think mine has but one mode, but the lite blinking bit should still hold true.

it should......if you five click to turn it off, then once it blinks off, hold the button down till it blinks yellow. At that point you have put it into unregulated mode and then 5 click to turn it on. The only bugger about it is that it doesn't remember it with battery changes. Once you break that battery connection, it defaults to regulated and ya gotta do it all over again :laugh:

5 clicks off/on works

Holding button down when off, after a full minute - Nothing.
Prob just an early model, no mater, price was right and it will let me pif my backup to a disabled friend.


Come to think of it I really need to figure out if the battery is protected or not too.
