Yeah... basement, cellar, or a small inside room towards the center of the house like a bathroom. If it's a bathroom, get in the tub. If not, if there is some stronger furniture like a sofa, table etc, get on the side of it so if anything were to fall, it would catch it. Don't get under a bed or similar since they could crush you if something fell on them, again get to the side of it.

Or even better.... get to the Pacific Northwest. You only have to worry about forest fires, volcanoes and the occasional mild earthquake. :)

    Yea you can't win for losing. I grew up here in Ohio with the tornados, then I lived in Florida for about 6 years and suffered through all the 2005 hurricanes. Now back here dealing with either snow or tornados. :facepalm:

    Sounds like you made it ok or it still going on?
