When we're out and some guy starts talking to me like that, I don't know nothing cuz I'm a female attitude, my ole man tells them ..."Buddy you just screwed up big time" and laughs then stands back. Cuz I'll let them know in no uncertain terms that they are an ... and I want service done right then and there with no bullcrap ! I usually after that get a "Yes Ma'am" and sometimes a discount to boot There's no need for that kind of thing, I just can't stand it

Depends on how your going there I would think it would be kind of out of your way If you can find an AAMCO around there they do offer a national warranty and will check it out for free

Lol well thanks for the offer. The nearest AAMCO is 50 miles away but I am sure I can find a mechanic to check it out. Especially now I have some possibilities to go on.

My favorite is to play the helpless female and say "well, just let me call my husband". I tell him what's going on and then hold phone far away from my ear. He will then shout into the phone "Just tell them to ____(insert thing supposed to be being done here)" and make everyone in the waiting room of the place laugh their asses off. FTR I know what a butterfly valve is, and could tell it didn't need cleaning when the man started flipping "This thingie here" open and closed to show me how dirty it was. I just prefer to show them that, even if a woman doesn't know what that is, doesn't mean she can be taken advantage of.
