the last charge got me for 400 wasnt very happy needless to say.im gonna go the prepaid route for vaping stuff now!
I've been contemplating another account through my bank with a new card.....then I just transfer the amount I need at a time without having to go out to do it

What I did was set up a new checking account with the debit card overdraft feature disabled.
I just transfer enough into the account to cover current purchases via electronic transfer (can do this via my smart phone if I want).
There's no way to trace it back to my other accounts.
I don't have to make a trip to Wally-World every time I want to charge something.
That way if it is hacked, they only have access to the $50 or $60 that's in the account.
My bank has a policy that I'm not responsible for unauthorized charges. If I see one, I report it and I don't have to pay for it. So far they've held true to that so I'm not going to jump through too many hoops to try to make things completely foolproof.
The kids are taking me out for dinner cash everybody later. Well looks like it almost works.
