The two big fires are between where Max and I live. Firefighters are near and dear to the hearts of Arizonans. Anytime one gets hurt, we all feel it. Thoughts and prayers for the 19 brave firefighters who died yesterday, and for the more than 200 still fighting to save Yarnell.
Don't anybody worry about Daisy's house either. The way the prevailing winds and mountain I'm on combine, it is extremely unlikely that my place would come into harms way.

As far as I know this fire is not threatening Prescott yet. That could change. It is really hard to know what's going on with a fire at any given moment unless you are on the ground with it.

The Doce Fire that started Tuesday is very close to Prescott. According to the Doce Fire Facebook page (yes, there is such a thing) that fire is 96% contained. The firefighters that died in Yarnell were fighting the Doce fire earlier this week.
Many thoughts and prayers for all Arizonians and extra for the families suffering great loss
Sorry to carpet bomb, but it's the time of year that I start watching this stuff. This is a map of the large fires in AZ and NM. It isn't all of them, just whatever the FS defines as "large". SWCC > ICS-209 Fires
