Hi, I live in the Toronto, Canada area and am looking to quit the cancer sticks and want to learn more about vaping. Hoping to save money by making e-juice with a few friends and maybe buying a group buy of vapes. I notice some websites in China selling
[h=1]Authentic Joyetech eRoll C Kit E cigarettes Joyetech eRoll-C Starter Kits with 90mAh eRoll-C Battery 1000mAh eRoll C PCC free shipping[/h]Is something like this a clone/garbage?

I also would like a good supplier in Canada for base and nicotine, also other supplies for a bunch of newbie mad-scientists...

What is a good first-time vape, I don't want anything too expensive but I don't want something that is going to break or blow-up on me.

How about vg vs. pg? Do they vape at the same temp? I definately don't want any vaporizer that combusts the liquid.

Any good threads or websites for recipes for newbies? I did see a thread here but it was from 2011, not sure if much has changed.

thanks in advance for anyone that can help me out

They are not going to blow up on you unless you modify to that extend where such risk will reside.
Congrats on trying to take control, we are happy for you.

I never tried that model, but it seems decent in that price and looks pretty convenient for traveling.
But I do not think it will deliver much to my preference in my opinion.
Even though case has decent battery charge (1000 mah is alright), vape battery itself don't hold much for you to enjoy your break.
90 mah wouldn't last long so you gotta wait for it to charge up from the case, and it will be pain to refill since tank size is small.

Unless you were really light smoker, I wouldn't recommend such.
Unless you just want nicotine dose and put 100 mg nicotine level in that small tank of course.

Ha ha awesome, I myself was half pack a day too.

Seems like your budget is somewhat $30-40-ish, which is pretty much an entry level gears, so don't get crazy expectation with vape experiences.

Warding the bush instead of face checking is smart move, so you are on right track though.

This is one of the places to start looking, and they are pretty cheap and on sales.

You can also use it as references to look at other products.

to ecf saberteeth. Nice to meet you and so glad that you are here. You will find it such a valuable place for information as well as support. First of all I want to tell you that I was a heavy smoker for way to many years and vaping is the only thing that ever helped me. I had given up on ever being a non-smoker when I saw a Groupon and bought a starter kit and said I would just try in to save some money. I did both for a good while and kept cutting back on cigarettes and when I got down to one or two a day. . . the cigarette I had smoked for so many years, started tasting nasty and I just preferred the flavors of vaping. I honestly think if I can do it, anyone can. And I wish you all the luck in the world.

Did not take long to get into the DIY part of vaping. I wanted to save money and let me tell you that is the way to go. There are some really good juices out there but I like what I make the best because I know exactly what is in it and it cost around ¢3 a ml to make. There are some fantastic DIY threads on ecf and so many other wonder websites that can help. Even YouTube is quite helpful.

Just make yourself at home and I look forward to reading about your successful vaping.

OMG, I almost forgot to answer your question. I have read many good things about the eroll and I started out on cigalikes and then when to the ego style battery. I still needed more power because I was a heavy smoker. I vape 24mg now and vape somedays 20 hours. There are just so many excellent choice out there. The mvp2 was very easy to use and had a fantastic battery life. Here is a thread that will give you an idea of some of the other things out there. You may find something else you would like to do research on.

I am quite frugal and I purchased lots of stuff from Fasttech.com when I first began. It takes several weeks to get to you but the savings are quite impressive. I have always had good luck with them. If you find something just make sure it has some good review or come back here and post a question here on ecf to get a second opinion.

Sorry for the long post, I am sleep deprived and I got carried away because I so want you to be able to quit smoking.
:)
