so today i worked pretty late and as i was leaving, I popped the old headphones in as usual and started back my audiobook. im currently listening to IT. so im mulling along down the hall (which being late is quite deserted) and im engrossed in a very scary part of the book. and as i turn a corner i nearly faint as i almost run right into a freaking clown. i nearly lost my bowels and let out an audible scream. so scared!.....one of the ladies at the hospital where i work volunteers at the children's hospital nearby. ahhhhhh! she looks a lot like ur avatar rose. she just laughed and bounced down the hall

Rose, do you have any thing to treat your yard? All rooms of the house? Wowzer.... That is odd for sure, Does the house have a crawlspace? Attic? I have seen ants build nests in guttering before..... I would think that the attic would actually be the easiest entry point to all rooms, just thinking out loud....

Chedbit, I have an attic and a basement so they can come in all over the place. There are 15 rooms in this house and it will be expensive to buy stuff for every possible entry so not sure if it would be cheaper to just get the danged exterminator.

heh, just a little bug killer. Had a couple gallons of that stuff when I bought my first house. Yard was full of fleas and ticks and spiders everywhere. Nuked the yard with that stuff and up the brick of the house and didn't even have a fly on the trash can for years. Which is worse, spraying once every few years or twice a year with the crap they sell now? When they used it to spray for termites you wouldn't have to spray again for 25-30 years. Crap they use now they come back every year.

Good evening bullies. I'm quite the tired Drewby tonight. But as promised here is one crappy picture of what has been keeping me busy. I have decided that the kitchen in my house (which was built in the mid 50's) was due for an upgrade. We had already done the rest of the house. I was just procrastinating doing the kitchen. Seeing as I'm a bachelor and don't really spend much time in the kitchen anyway. But I said screw it and ripped everything out. Got the walls and ceiling ripped out yesterday. Finished cleaning up that mess today and redid all the wiring. Tomorrow will be insulation day. Bleh, I hate that part. Getting itchy all over is a bummer. So my budget will be a bit tight for the foreseeable future. But I'll still try and work up the energy to pop in and say hi. But for now, it's g'nite. Have a beautiful evening...Wow that's a long winded entry. Making up for lost time I suppose.
