NEW xStar VC 2 Charger

Wasn't sure where to post this but...
freaking charger showed up from xstar direct super fast...

tossed in a couple Efest 2500 mAh saw the unit hit its FULL indicator ( she flashes ) and declares the total mAh placed into the supposed 53A Efest
well it was a measly low number not even 1k like 638 or so ...

Moved to batteries and Chargers from General vaping. Hopefully you will get more traffic here

Chargers put volts not amps into the battery
And that reading I suppose is mah replaced so your battery was a little more then half full when you charged it.

Yup, you have 2500 mAh total so if you discharge the battery to 2.5V and then charge it, the charger should put about that much back into it. At 638 mAh put back in, it was about 1/4 discharged.

I do not suggest you try to discharge the batt all the way to check it out

yes yes yes thanks all I have figured all of that out ..
was hoping new charger would validate max mAw
but as cited it confirms mAw added while charging

its still a damn good charger

I guess the screen readouts of VC2 are more informative, and it can charge up to 26650 batteries.
VP2 does have a high charing current though

Like he said, the vc also adds several charging options for diff battery types.
If all you need is a 18xxx charger with adjustable charge rate. Save the money they both use the same charging algorithm
