Any ideas on when the ML Class will be available? (last I recall it was mid October or mid November?)

My SXminiM died and my supplier says they can't get replacements, I have a choice to wait for the ML series, get something else or get a refund.

Currently I'm leaning on waiting for the ML series - the complete black ones look cool.

If you are looking for a reliable (and reasonably priced) TC mod while you're waiting for the ML look into an ipv D2 ($40). It uses the yihi 130 chip. I picked up 2 for travel and it's become my daily driver, the M stays at home now so it doesn't get lost or stolen. It doesn't have all the bells & whistles like profiles, power settings or TCR curves...but it's a consitent TC vape for little $$ while you wait to see what the ML has to offer.

Thanks but no thanks. I have other mods which do only Ti/Ni, I have a "Boxer" 350J on the way I'm but looking to replace my single battery 350J as I have store credit. No sense depleting the credit for something that does not measure up while waiting for the real deal.

With a dozen or mods around here I don't really need another one but any new ones will have TCR adjustment so I can use SS430 with it. (or whatever wire seems better than Ti/Ni that I want to try)

Anyone got an idea for release date for this?
Thinking of pre-ordering it. However I need not as a mod, but I am writing an article/manual on the different temp chips (joytech, yihi, smok) and I don't own a yihi.
Well I got a D2, but don't like it and noone will buy it for 10$
The D2 was very linear in its temp ramp, I am told the SX is a different story.

Place it in the Classes' and Tag me. I'll buy it for that and kick in for shipping.

I understand that logic, I've had have an SXMM since launch and an DNA 200 Boxer Lipo on order. I'm not trying to say that the D2 performs as well as a Yihi 350J mod, but for $40 I contend it performs better than anything under $100 and I for one would rather have someone's swipe that with a sub tank at the airport or bar than any of my $250 mods with a GEM or ErlK.

To each their own, just throwing it out there as a 'good enough' until the SXMML comes out, which could be a month+ based on recent reports.

I currently own 4 other TC mods and 4 non-TC mods. Needless to say I won't be suffering with the missing SXminiM. ;)

I have an iStick TC40+STM for out and about but really don't worry about loosing a mod or having it stolen any more than I do my cell phone - both of which I keep in my pocket when not in use. :)

It sounds like the ML series is delayed to mid November. If they delay it much further I may consider one of the other mods my vendor offered up as possible replacements. Thankfully one option uses 18650's rather than a Lipo battery.

The 'big' news from YiHi is whatever it is that they are coming out in December with. (I wont see my 4th quarter bonus until mid January anyway) I already have to many mods.

Quite alright man. I'm not trying to make a case for the D2, I for one am just impressed with how far the low end of the TC mod market has come in such a short time (temp curve notwithstanding).

The SXMM is still the best vape in my stable. I'd be all over an ML preorder if I new more about exactly what features the v2 chip offered outside of escribe-like functionality. That's why I ordered a DNA 200 boxer, to see if it's anything I care about. If the DNA doesn't offer a substantially better vape, I'll be tempted to by a few more SXMMs while the price drops & pass on the ML unless it offers something truly unique.

I'll keep tuned in for more info on the 350J V2 & the Yihi December reveal as it comes out.

I agree. It is rather amazing. To think that I plunked down $45 for a iTaste Clk! and Aspire Maxi back in April and come October a buyer can almost outfit themselves with a TC40+decent tank for about the same price! (there are a few discounted TC "kits" for that price or lower if you shop around online)

Its even more amazing how fast some of the vaping community has moved from Ni200 to Ti and now to SS and beyond. While I still have plenty of Ni200 around (most of my tanks have Ni builds in them) and really the only issue I have with it is the insanely low resistance your stuck with. I have made Ti builds over 1.0ohms and my current two SS430 builds come in at ~1.8ohms! (cold) (I have three gauges of NiFe on the way)

While I've was looking for another mod which can do custom TCR to compliment my Apollo Reliant my SXminiM died shortly before YiHi released the firmware update with that feature! I've been offered (and considering) two different DNA200 mods as replacements however would like to stick with 18650's, hence the order for the Boxer 350J which "kills two birds with one stone" by giving me a dual 18650 backup for the IPV4S as well as a TCR backup for the Reliant. (giving me a single and a dual 18650 mods with TCR)

Funny as it happened I was surfing by Ginger Vapor checking the status of my boxer this AM (still has not shipped!) and low and behold they still had SXminiM's in stock at a discount! A few hours later I got email confirmation that a replacement SXminiM is on its way.

Now that my YiHi stable is 'complete', I'm debating the ML series or trying a DNA200.

    ;)

Price has already dropped on SXMM, $180 at varitube now. Wonder if that voids the warranty as well..

It could still happen...there's an awful lot of 350J V1 boards that still need homes, and no doubt a fair few SX Mini Ms sitting on shelves.

Besides, if SS really catches on, to keep their partners and customers happy, they'll need to add it to the SX 330 (and maybe SX 130H line) as well, via at least a preset, to existing hardware. Doubtful they'll add full granular TCR support a la SXK or Smok though, that's a significant change in the UI.
Huh? You sound well informed (maybe a bit too well informed for us common folk) so do you mind dumbing down that statement for those of us whom are less technically savvy? Thanks

You have over two hundred dollars in credit? Man, your Vape shop must have an awesome points system for rewards lol or did you just return a lot of stuff and haven't received you're credit back yet...?

Simply put, Yihi will likely roll out stainless-capable variants of the SX330 and SX130 boards in the near future, but they probably won't be as fine-tunable as the SX 350. Especially the SX130, which I reckon will just have a preset for one (or two) grades of stainless along with Ni200 and titanium. The SX330 has a bit more computing horsepower than the SX130 so they maybe could add manual TCR adjustment to it, but I'm not sure the current version can be upgraded to that.

My 1st SXminiM died which created a $200 credit as my vendor can't get anymore to replace it (however can sell you one brand new!). With them I decided to ether wait for the ML or pick up one of the DNA200 devices currently on pre-order at the same vendor. (a few more weeks wait)

In the mean time, the SXminiM has been discounted at other vendors. A replacement SXminiM arrived Saturday and a Boxer 350J will arrive later today.

Yo I don't want to get any hopes up and I'm honestly not positive but I did hear that if they a out of the mclass's and your year is not up they may replace with the newest mod. Honestly like I said I only heard that so don't hold your breath but will see what happens. I do in have a friend who is a certified yihi distributor that supposedly said that yihi has the ML and something else already in the works for around chrismas or later. Once again I haven't heard it myself so take it for what it's worth. Maybe someone here knows more about what I mentioned or if its bad info.

Sounds like it all turned out for the best...what are you leaning more towards, the DNA 200 or the sx Ml?
